"We were in Pensacola for the week and decided we needed to make a day trip to Mobile. I rarely get cajun/creole at home, given that I currently live in a landlocked state, so I was excited to try Bourdeaux's! This is an instance where I wish Yelp offered half stars, as this is a solid 4.5 for me. We ordered a smattering of apps (fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, loaded fries, and the blackened gator . All were good and Mr. Picky Pants LOVED the gator! (Can you believe that??? like L O V E D it!! It was delicious!! I was torn between the crawfish etouffee and the shrimp and grits (an all time fave of mine so, yeah, I ordered both!! The etouffee was amazingly well done! I really enjoyed that it had both stewed and fried crawfish. The shrimp and grits is the reason that Bourdeaux's did not receive 5 starts from me. Though the plate was beautiful, the remoulade really just tasted like creamy tabasco sauce and other than the kick, didn't have a tone of flavor. The grits were grit cakes (I'm accustomed to these being creamy for this dish though the shrimp was cooked perfectly! Our whole party enjoyed their meal MPP ordered the voodoo pasta, hubs had a steak and MPP's GF had the fried seafood platter. All were good! We ordered the beignets, banana bread bread pudding, as well as the key lime pie (with four forks . Also great!! BIG dessert servings, definitely meant to share! (and let me also say, that I don't really care for key lime pie. I would never order this on my own accord but this was hands down THE BEST key lime pie I've ever tasted!!!THIS I would order again without hesitation!! 8 thumbs up and 4 food babies later... definitely would recommend!!"

"I took my kids to this restaurant, and it was extremely crowded with slow service. Most patrons seemed to order and leave quickly, likely due to the dirty floors and tables. The overall cleanliness of the place left much to be desired, as it had an unpleasant smell. Despite the long wait, I’m giving it a somewhat positive rating of two stars because the staff at the front who took our orders were professional and friendly. My kids enjoyed the food, but I did notice that the chicken sandwiches were soggy because the lettuce was wet. Overall, while my review might not deter others from visiting, as someone who values cleanliness and order, I believe the restaurant fell short in those areas."

"We rushed to make it on time for breakfast and came in at 10:45am. One of the servers greeted us with a welcoming smile , while the other told our server (clearly unhappy not caring a bit we can hear her) “these gotta be the last ones” which made us feel quite a bit uncomfortable.. Moments later the same frowny lady walked up to our table and again, without acknowledging we can hear see her, bursted this to our server: “cmon we better make this quick” It was so so unprofessional inappropriate, I was about to stand up and leave, but my friend from out of town really wanted breakfastso we stayed and then we met Sean who immediately made us feel welcome rather than a burden. Thank you for that Sean. I am very sorry you have to work with someone who doesn’t know the basic elements of hospitality."

"We just attended a get-together with the Facebook group Baldwin County Foodies and were impressed with this quaint locally owned and operated business, full name Le Bouchon Wine and Tapas Bar . It 's in the downtown section of Daphne, which is pretty small but easy to find. It 's parallel to Hwy 98 on scenic 98. Speaking of small, there are a couple of comfy seating areas, with couches and chairs, high-top tables, and a small bar. Upon entering we noticed the shotgun shake elongated space but it 's very laid back and intimate with a nice atmosphere and vibe. Despite the limited space, they had a dude playing guitar and singing by the front door, nice and mellow too. There 's a respectable choice of wines, but not overdone like some of the more pretentious places plus they have several craft beers, beers on tap and sparkling fizzy choices. Good news, if you 're not a connoisseur you can also sample some of the wines, nice touch. We were greeted by Jessica, she rocked, and she guided us through the specials and all about the wines and foods. She took excellent care of us throughout the visits and made it a joy. While they had a bbq chicken slider being made that was not on the menu, and it sounded good, we got a flatbread pizza and the roasted red pepper hummus with pita bread and veggies. Both were outstanding, fresh, and a very good pairing for my sweetheart 's wine and the stout beer that I chose. However, I regretted not getting their huge and inviting-looking charcuterie board, it 's loaded full of different cheeses, olives, meats, and more, next time for sure. I got to meet quite a few people from our group, everyone seemed to enjoy their choices of food and libations so I feel pretty good that everyone enjoyed themselves and I look forward to doing it again real soon! Big shout out to Chace Yamagata for making it all happen, way to go!!!!!!! "The place was not difficult to find except when you listen to your GPS and turn off a road briefly. Haha to me. The place must be very popular with locals. There was a decent parking lot on the property, but there were parking spaces on the side of the road. Until Moe's Bar B Que the food was great as well as the prices. There were many good ways to eat. The place was packed when we got advertisements where we ate well. The place had to eat outside as well as TV with football all over the place. If you asked me, I'd go back there, I'd be sure! I was filled when I was gone."

"Prior to the pandemic I used to eat here about once a month and always thought they had really good fried chicken, chicken tender and Delta-style tamales. I still think that's true but either my tastes have changed or the quality/price ratio has changed here, because it isn't quite the same as it used to be. Make no mistake, the chicken tenders they serve here are HUGE, tender and juicy. The Delta-style tamales are still a treat, too. But the prices are sky-high for an appetizer or a meal, with a dozen clocking in at nearly $25! Chicken's more reasonable but the last few times I've had dark or mixed meat plates the size of each piece were kind of small. These cuts must come from midget chickens! That said, the food is still good, it's just not as good for the price as it used to be. The story of everything in 2024, right? Even the sides seem smaller than they used to be, now coming in little quarter-cup sized styrofoam cups. I can't speak to the booze and bar experience but the bar has never not been busy when I have visited, even during off peak dining times. If I lived in Daphne, I'd definitely still eat here more often, but with the drive (and having superior fried chicken at Fairhope's Mr. Spuds on 181) there isn't much cause to go this far for good but not as great chicken anymore."

"First thing was a great mural on the north side of the building. Second impression was how fabulously clean the whole dining room was and stayed. The service was lovely and professional. The fried green tomatoes are cut up smaller before they are fried,almost like chips, really good. My tuna on salad was great, the tuna steak a nice medium rare, just like I asked. My friendthought the gumbo needed a couple shakes of Tabasco, but I don?t agree. But the Tabasco was right there so we are all happy.Another friend had fried shrimp, another had a fried catfish Poboy, and we were all pleased with what we got. Our waitress wasfirst rate, I?m sorry I didn?t get her name for this review. They also have televisions all around so people can watch thefootball game of their choice."

"Love the Wacky Shrimp! I am from out of town. I was in Daphne for work and stopped in for an early dinner one night. I loved that fried pickles were an option for a side! It’s rare to find that in a restaurant you can usually only get them as an app and I was hungry enough for an appetizer so I loved having that option. A couple weeks later I was in Point Clear with my mom and took her back to the Wacky Shrimp on the way out of town! So glad we found this gem! (Also the hush puppies are 10/10!"

"We drove past this place to our hotel and we can smell the food! The next day, we were looking for a place to eat and decided to try this place as we had tried the other Thai location before. Don't be fooled from outside. The staff was great and our waiter definitely loved his job and knew taste!! Just reason I didn't give a 5 star was because they had nothing vegetarian for appetizers. We usually get spring rolls. The food was amazing and yes the roasted rice was delicious!! We had the drunk noodles with Tofu, which I recommend! Make sure to add something extra....you calculate .95cents! Our waiter suggested adding Cilantro, but I don't think I had anything at all. For .95cents you can get the whole bunch. So ask before you add or you could be meal. Portions were a good size. I usually eat spicy and the hot was not hot enough!! You do not have the imagination spice shelf like most locations, so you get the 1. Let's do it...when u like wicy... Thai hot is feasible."

"The food is usually great tasting. However two out of four times I have ordered later in the evening, so yes, I know, everyone is tired. So am I. That’s why I’m having someone else make my dinner. I order my food based on what is listed on the menu. In this case a chicken caprice wrap. It doesn’t have tomatoes. I can’t have tomatoes. So that’s good. But when I get home. It has a ton of tomatoes and I now I have no dinner that I can eat. Another time I order a white pizza. No tomatoes on a white pizza. But when I get it home? Under the cheese they threw tomato on there like it’s a confused margarita.It’s that tiny bit of attention to detail and 30 bucks wasted on my part each time for dinner I cannot have? That makes it so no matter how good your food is? I’m not risking wasting my money for flavor. Stick to your menu . It is what I am ordering. Wow. This is unusual but I’m taking the service to 0 stars. I opened up the wrap to go give it to the local trash pandas and found a toothpick inside the wrap. Then I open the other one and there’s another in that side! My dudes! Do NOT put toothpicks in wraps! They don’t stay and I don’t know they are there. Saved by tomatoes! If I’d bitten that? Just pay attention to what you are doing? That is all I am saying. Two seconds of attention ."

"I had a wonderful culinary experience in bangkok thai cuisine. from all restaurants where I had the pleasure to eat kab-Klanoon, this special restaurant with a distance has the most superior best-tasting crab rangoon that I had ever had in my life. while most other restaurants in the regular very hard to have sometimes unpalatable teig that they wrap around the ringoon and then deep freeze it, bangkok thai kitchen uses a very unique teig that has this very beautiful soft crispy texture and excellent taste. I didn't just have one of them, but I had to get one to go home with me, they were so good. I also had the tom yong chicken soup and seafood soup I also ordered a squid padthai. the meal was stubborn and the service was exceptional. I recommend going here when they are over in the region soonwin and randomly have a hankering for Thai cuisine."

There was also a sign for To-Go orders and curbside pickup displayed on the counter. The hostess seated us and our waiter promptly took our order. The biscuits were still as delicious as ever and our waitress continuously refilled them throughout the meal. At the end, we were offered some complimentary cookies. Customers can pay their bill without having to leave the table, as there is a self-service checkout tablet available. The only downside is that the server must bring the receipt. "We went for Sunday lunch. It was about 11 when we arrived. No place to sit except at the bar. We were greeted very quickly for the amount of business. Drinks came quickly. THERE IS SO MUCH TO SEE IN THIS PLACE. I believe one could sit for an extended period of time and still find new stuff to check out. It was a gas station during prohibition that had liquor. It's been in the same location since 1934, I think. Anyway, we got mushrooms for a starter. They were ok. My wife got a BLT and I got a French Dip. The portions are more than adequate. My sandwich was very good. The au jus was warm, the bread was a bit crispy, the meat and cheese was plentiful. 2 mimosas, an order of mushrooms, a French Dip and a BLT, both with one side, with a $5 and change tip, was $50. I recommend going and checking it out. We can't afford to do that regularly, but it's a lot of fun."
