"I took my kids to this restaurant, and it was extremely crowded with slow service. Most patrons seemed to order and leave quickly, likely due to the dirty floors and tables. The overall cleanliness of the place left much to be desired, as it had an unpleasant smell. Despite the long wait, I’m giving it a somewhat positive rating of two stars because the staff at the front who took our orders were professional and friendly. My kids enjoyed the food, but I did notice that the chicken sandwiches were soggy because the lettuce was wet. Overall, while my review might not deter others from visiting, as someone who values cleanliness and order, I believe the restaurant fell short in those areas."

"We rushed to make it on time for breakfast and came in at 10:45am. One of the servers greeted us with a welcoming smile , while the other told our server (clearly unhappy not caring a bit we can hear her) “these gotta be the last ones” which made us feel quite a bit uncomfortable.. Moments later the same frowny lady walked up to our table and again, without acknowledging we can hear see her, bursted this to our server: “cmon we better make this quick” It was so so unprofessional inappropriate, I was about to stand up and leave, but my friend from out of town really wanted breakfastso we stayed and then we met Sean who immediately made us feel welcome rather than a burden. Thank you for that Sean. I am very sorry you have to work with someone who doesn’t know the basic elements of hospitality."

"We just attended a get-together with the Facebook group Baldwin County Foodies and were impressed with this quaint locally owned and operated business, full name Le Bouchon Wine and Tapas Bar . It 's in the downtown section of Daphne, which is pretty small but easy to find. It 's parallel to Hwy 98 on scenic 98. Speaking of small, there are a couple of comfy seating areas, with couches and chairs, high-top tables, and a small bar. Upon entering we noticed the shotgun shake elongated space but it 's very laid back and intimate with a nice atmosphere and vibe. Despite the limited space, they had a dude playing guitar and singing by the front door, nice and mellow too. There 's a respectable choice of wines, but not overdone like some of the more pretentious places plus they have several craft beers, beers on tap and sparkling fizzy choices. Good news, if you 're not a connoisseur you can also sample some of the wines, nice touch. We were greeted by Jessica, she rocked, and she guided us through the specials and all about the wines and foods. She took excellent care of us throughout the visits and made it a joy. While they had a bbq chicken slider being made that was not on the menu, and it sounded good, we got a flatbread pizza and the roasted red pepper hummus with pita bread and veggies. Both were outstanding, fresh, and a very good pairing for my sweetheart 's wine and the stout beer that I chose. However, I regretted not getting their huge and inviting-looking charcuterie board, it 's loaded full of different cheeses, olives, meats, and more, next time for sure. I got to meet quite a few people from our group, everyone seemed to enjoy their choices of food and libations so I feel pretty good that everyone enjoyed themselves and I look forward to doing it again real soon! Big shout out to Chace Yamagata for making it all happen, way to go!!!!!!! Bottom line: The atmosphere, friendly people, and great service, with creative and fresh food offerings and course the wines make this a really great place anytime. "The place was not difficult to find except when you listen to your GPS and turn off a road briefly. Haha to me. The place must be very popular with locals. There was a decent parking lot on the property, but there were parking spaces on the side of the road. Until Moe's Bar B Que the food was great as well as the prices. There were many good ways to eat. The place was packed when we got advertisements where we ate well. The place had to eat outside as well as TV with football all over the place. If you asked me, I'd go back there, I'd be sure! I was filled when I was gone."

"Prior to the pandemic I used to eat here about once a month and always thought they had really good fried chicken, chicken tender and Delta-style tamales. I still think that's true but either my tastes have changed or the quality/price ratio has changed here, because it isn't quite the same as it used to be. Make no mistake, the chicken tenders they serve here are HUGE, tender and juicy. The Delta-style tamales are still a treat, too. But the prices are sky-high for an appetizer or a meal, with a dozen clocking in at nearly $25! Chicken's more reasonable but the last few times I've had dark or mixed meat plates the size of each piece were kind of small. These cuts must come from midget chickens! That said, the food is still good, it's just not as good for the price as it used to be. The story of everything in 2024, right? Even the sides seem smaller than they used to be, now coming in little quarter-cup sized styrofoam cups. I can't speak to the booze and bar experience but the bar has never not been busy when I have visited, even during off peak dining times. If I lived in Daphne, I'd definitely still eat here more often, but with the drive (and having superior fried chicken at Fairhope's Mr. Spuds on 181) there isn't much cause to go this far for good but not as great chicken anymore."
