"First of all, the parking was very convenient. Though there aren’t many tables for dining in, we waited and were fortunate that a table became available just as our food was ready. We were grateful we didn’t have to eat in the car, so be patient if you want to dine in. My friend and I both ordered the "Zio Freddo’s Got Serious Beef" sandwich and shared a strawberry Italian soda. It was absolutely amazing. The beef was tender and melted in my mouth with just a mild kick—perfect for me since I’m not a fan of too much spice. I hadn't had an Italian soda since I was a kid, back when my grandmother was still with us, so I highly recommend you order one. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! This is a true Italian deli, and I can’t wait to return and try something new. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We've been exploring delicious food in Detroit, as we make a trip there every two weeks."

"I came up visit this spot based on reviews about the service, and because I heard it's a vegan spot that is actually pretty good.Location wise it's kind of in a random place. It's kind of like its own element in the sea of residential, and right across from DMC hospital which was a little bit off. And the entrance is also unassuming. But as soon as you step inside, you feel the welcoming aura.I thought the food was prepared well. It was quick. The service was excellent too. Now the prices were a little bit on the high end so that's one caveat. And the decor/furniture could use a little bit of work since it's a bit dated at this point. However, overall it was a good experience and I'd recommend a visit.I got the Coney Dog which is kind of like a chili dog with I think fake meat. I also got the loaded fries which I thought were actually quite good. I'd like to try the big mock Burger, but at $16 it was a little bit too much to splurge on for a taste."

"Excellent experience. Mike's catered an event for us and everyone was delighted with the quality and quantity of the food. The delivery was on time and everything tasted fresh. There was so much food that we didn't even notice that we were missing a tray of fruit. Unbeknownst to us, Mike realized the oversight and went back to the restaurant to retrieve it. We appreciated the extra miles, literally, he put into it to make sure we were happy."

"We had a reservation this past Saturday April 1 at 8pm. We were greeted by the doorman which was honestly very cool. He was very welcoming and made a great start to the evening. We were seated promptly on the left side of the entertainment stage. The music was exceptional not to loud not to quiet. We started with east/west coast oysters, the pork belly, and the crab cake. The apps were very good and fresh. My wife had the scallops, friends had the veal chop and porter house. I had the 28 day dry age ribeye. This steak was honestly the best steak I’ve ever had, yes even better than prime and proper. It literally melted in my mouth. For sides we got the fried potatoes and Brussels. Desert was their iconic brick sundae. Everything was so good. We will be back"

"Ordered the Branzino, and served cold not hot. Also lots and lots of bones on first few bites. Cocktails were great, main dish not so great. My girlfriend ordered salmon and it also was served cold. On a Friday night and not super busy. Definitely took a while to receive main course entree after appetizer. Sad to say I will not return here as it definitely has slipped since last time here. Sad since my girlfriend was visiting from DC and wanted to give her a great night on the town"

"Royal BBQ Pizza and Grill is one of the best restaurants in Michigan. The video everyone is watching is manipulated and can be seen closely that it was edited. The cook is leaning over to smell the food to see if she has included the sauce that has a strong smell. This restaurant is one of the cleanest restaurants in Michigan. Any person that has eaten here would know this and would vouch with this statement. The integrity of the food is the highest with the best products offered to their customers. Another point I would like to mention is that, what person in their right state of mind would do such a act. I know the owners personally and they are honest, loving, family oriented individuals that work day and night to run this business. People will do anything to hurt a family owned restaurant and to make money off views, it is a shame what this world has become. The author of the video calls the restaurant multiple times a day and harasses the employees that he will take down the video if they pay him."

"This place is a hidden gem. The food is fantastic! I've tried almost everything and it's all packed with flavor. It's always perfectly cooked. I never fear experimenting with a new dish... Lately I'm trying to eat more vegetarian dishes for dietary reasons and this establishment has some great dishes that won't leave you feeling deprived. It's all so good! Love the atmosphere, and the staff are kind. My wife and I love to swing by every time we visit the VA nearby. Highly recommended!"

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"the complete waiting chaos was after approx. 20 minutes visible in the dinner service. the waitress was slowly getting our drink order. drinks were healthy pouring out and well made. my wife had a lobster bite, and I had the French wobbles. the bisque was too salty and the French wobbles were best moderate. most mothers and pop djnners have served better. a caesars salad for two came out and prepared on the table. the waiter could not separate the egg yolk from the white during the first test and then drop the ice on the floor. at this point it began to be a comedy show. the Porterhouse-Steak was shared with the two of us. the waitress rubbed us in the garlic butter. However, when it came out, the butter did not melt at all on the steak. the plate was ice cold and the steak was extremely rare. so much, so it was difficult to cut. it would just splash under the knife. the steak was ordered with medium rare, but I checked the middle of the strip and it was cool on the touch! not good. even if it had been boiled correctly, it would still be tasteless and embarrassing. the waitress was told and she offered to take her back. it was my experience that if that happens, they cook the hell out of the flesh. So we decided not to consume it and cook it right at home. the waitress was more of a cure and canceled our comments as if we knew nothing. our sides were delivered incorrectly and the waitress caught only the mistake after going away and then spoke with another waiter. she came by and admired the mistake and said just to enjoy it. Now, the court was framed spinat that did not fit to serve everyone sleep to calculate for it. during the time, the kitchen staff came out at two locations to correct the waiting personnel on other tables and to cover errors. the frustration was very obvious on many of the workers faces. where they walk and come together. it was a Zitt show. on expensive poor!"

"My experience was okay at best. Made a reservation for 6 people a week in advance. We didn't get a table in the dining room but were instead seated in the bar area. The hostess staff could be friendlier and welcoming to guests. The bartender was our server, and he was probably the best part of the experience. I guess the seating could have been worse (glad we were not seated outside the restaurant in the mall section? . The food was okay. Dishes were either too salty (stuffed clams, calamari or lacked salt (pasta dishes . And the drink selections were okay, nothing spectacular worth mentioning. Would I go back? No. There are better options in the area with great food, drinks, and friendly staff that we dined at during our stay."

"I've dined at The Statler several times, and the food has consistently impressed me. However, the service has always left something to be desired during each visit. It's not terrible, but given the prices, it should be better. On this occasion, the service was particularly slow, even though the restaurant was mostly empty on a Sunday evening. If it had been a busy Saturday night before a show, the pace would've been understandable. We experienced long waits not only for our hors d'oeuvres and dessert orders but also for water refills. We tried to expedite things by ordering our entrées with the hors d'oeuvres to avoid another lengthy wait. Despite these issues, the overall experience was quite enjoyable."

"that was a last minute, we had a hard time to find a brunch place for 6! let me tell them the best place I stumbled on! we all have ordered something else, and each one of us is raves about how good it was. we were at the tail, so they were out of a few things, but the more reason to go back! I'm coming for you pancakes!"

"Before my trip to Detroit, I had heard great things about this restaurant and knew I had to check it out. Overall, my experience here was excellent, with the only downside being the temperature in the area we were seated in - it was a bit cold. It's important to have proper climate control when dining indoors. Other than that, the service was good, the staff were efficient, and most importantly, the food was fantastic. I would give the food a 5, service a 4, and atmosphere a 5."

"Interesting (albeit pricey) venue. Be sure to take the tour-it 's complimentary, but they don 't make that obvious. Disappointed that the waygu beef special, ordered medium-RARE was delivered Medium, with no replacement or concession. If you 're celebrating a birthday, you 'll have to request your $50 discount. I did not... and missed out. The Ghost bar is 'walk-in ', but very limited seating--approximately five 2-top tables and 10 seats at the bar. You 'd be comfortable in 'country club casual ' or dressed 'to the nines '. We saw both styles and that made it rather fun. We would go back again."

"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we are looked after before us. We expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it out of a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."

"My twin and I had a delicious meal at this restaurant. We both tried the vegetarian options and they were the best we've had in a while! The tofu in every dish was cooked perfectly and the flavors were amazing. I ordered the vegan phó as my main dish and the broth was outstanding. It was served with thinly sliced fennel and peanuts, making the dish even more delicious. The staff were friendly and kept the tables clean. Our food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering, which was impressive since I ordered before 4 pm and had to go to the front counter to place my order. The atmosphere was very welcoming, although the music wasn't my favorite, it suited the restaurant well. They don't have any dessert options, but mainly focus on soups and cocktails. Overall, a great dining experience!"

"We have been twice in the last 2 weeks ... which describes how much we love Metro 8. The porcini mushroom noodles are my favorite along with steak and tuna. The vegetables are always so fresh and perfectly prepared. The salads are crispy and dressed properly, and the wine list is huge and tasty. Perfect for dates, girls' nights or special occasions. Correctly priced for the top notch food you get. Better steaks than Angus Barn, better pasta than Maggianos, and much cheaper. The terrace is our favorite dining space, but the tables inside are super romantic. We will no doubt be back soon. Great service, fantastic atmosphere, top bar and wine list and local food to celebrate small businesses ... all my favorite things! Parking is so much easier than downtown Durham and we love the taste of 9th Street. The desserts are fantastic and the coffee is delicious."

"We went to Marrow on a Double Date Night and had a great time. We love the place and the vibe. It is unique, modern and cool, casual but elegant. Our waitress was Chloe. She was AMAZING. She described everything perfectly and was attentive. We didn't feel neglected at any point in time. Margaritas and their version of Cosmos (I forgot the name) were both really good. The cherry mascarpone homemade ice cream and the cappuccino were good, too. We LOVED the deviled egg tartare, the corn bread, and the Marrow. LOVED them. The Chef's Pick was okay. It was a Hanger Steak. It was good and cooked to the right temperature, and the fries were on point. But the steak itself is only 7 ounces, and there was nothing fancy to it, like all the other dishes that we enjoyed throughout the evening. The only thing I'd recommend is adding a larger steak to the menu. I would come back (but not sure that my husband would be thrilled to be back he is a Beef/steak lover after all). Parking: There is a really small free parking lot and free street parking. But if you don't get there early, parking is hard to find."

"This is a very unique restaurant—they have a mix of Mexican and Italian food on their menu so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. We made a reservation for 7pm and we were literally the only table in there for the entirety of our visit. The food was okay, I had linguine with clams and I found it overly oily and not very well seasoned. The Caesar salad didn’t taste like a Caesar salad, it almost tasted like it had a balsamic dressing. The chips and salsa they gave us were great, and they were kind enough to give us a complimentary (and delicious) flan since we were celebrating our anniversary. I’m not sure we’d come back here, but it was a good experience!"
