"Awesome seafood place in Gladewater, Texas. The best seafood in East Texas! Great service, excellent food and great parking in historic downtown Gladewater, Texas. Cannot begin to say enough about this place because the food was the freshest we have encountered since moving to Texas! Their Cajun style is beyond just regular. Their prices are very, very reasonable and we walked away fully satiated and looking forward to our next visit to this wonderful gem of warm and family friendly place to eat. Well worth the drive for us"

"I ordered 3 tacos. Was craving tacos. Taco Bell made this place look like dog food. The meat was so not seasoned it wouldn't have even been a good hamburger. I ate 1 out of 3 because I was hungry. "I have been eating at Subway restaurants for a long time at various locations in both the Dallas area and East texas. Tried the Gladewater recently and it is similar to all the rest, a decent sub sandwich but still not my favorite of sub sandwiches. Theydo have a very good selection and he stores are usually very clean as this one was also. A nice change from having to cook and Idon't care to cook for myself. So I'll be back no doubt but wish they had some other sub sandwich alternative restaurants inGladewater. The wait staff were kind of friendly but not really going out of their way to make it and enjoyable meal. I guesswe can all always have off days, just have to try to not make that off day and every day thing. Anyway if you are looking for asub sandwich and the Gladewater area this might be the place for you."

"Where is the beef?. This is not the best barbeque in East Texas. Not even close, but it is acceptable if you are in a hurry. The sauce is from the vinegar and not terrible sweet. I'd like to make it better if the sauce was a little sweeter. The brisket is fine, but nothing we can smoke at home. It is not particularly tender and is often quite hard. The ribs are also somewhat hard, but acceptable. It is really difficult for me to like barbeque joints because I know how to taste to be a self-announced expert for smoked meat. This special bodacious is only average, but will do in a pinch if you don't have 12 hours to smoke your own brisket. The Gladewater location offers decent Brisket, Ribs, sometimes chicken, sometimes Turkey and Sloppy Joes only for lunch. I like the beans and the standard mustard salad, so the sides are good. Try it yourself. It is hard to really say about barbeque because so many different people have different tastes. That's just my average."

"Nice Addition to Gladewater.. I thought this was a very nice place and I enjoyed my chicken fried steak. The people with me got the hamburger steak and they just thought it was OK, but I would definitely go for the CFS again. Not much more to say after only one visit."

"Had lunch here and was really surprised how good it was. This in not your hole-in-the-wall, small town cafe. The menu is big and the desserts are to die for. We had sliders with fries. I think the fries were just cut from the finest Idaho potatoes. The sliders tasted like they were homemade and just came from the oven. The meats and cheeses were great, and all was served very hot (and pretty quickly). A cupcake and pecan pie to-go topped it off. This place is worth the drive from Tyler, even if you have no other reason to go to Gladewater."

"This was our second visit to Booshays, and it was just as fantastic as the first! We ordered the steak sandwich with fries and the shrimp basket with potatoes (we substituted fries for hush puppies). Both dishes were excellent! The fries had the perfect amount of seasoning, and the hush puppies had a delightful spice to them. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, and my husband absolutely loved the steak sandwich. There are several items on the menu that are currently unavailable due to recent changes, but overall, it seems like there has been a lot of transformation at the restaurant. I highly recommend stopping by!"

"First time eating Booshay's ordered to go. We decided to get The Swampbuster it is supposed to feed two. Comes with fried catfish, shrimp, oysters, crawfish tails, and gator. With French fries, coleslaw, hush puppies, and Cajun bean soup.We substituted oysters for more crawfish tails, coleslaw for more hush puppies and wanted chicken and sausage Gumbo instead of the beans soup it comes with.Got home and there was 1 catfish strip, 2 hush puppies, a bunch of crawfish tails, 4 shrimp and a couple of gator. Plus I ended up getting the bean soup instead of the Gumbo soup I ordered.Decided to take the soup back. (We didn't take everything else back because I was super hungry and started eating. Not even realizing we got cheated! The lady told my boyfriend that 3 strips of fish are supposed to come with it and 4 hush puppies. Mind you we only got two plus ordered extra!We got the correct soup and she ended up putting 2 hush puppies in the bag!! Sadly enough we paid almost $40 for an appetizer! To say the least, it was definitely a terrible experience ordering out and we will not be ordering anymore food from them!"

"We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 PM, unaware that they close at 7:00. Upon realizing they were about to close, we considered leaving, but Chad stepped in and assured us he was happy to cook for us. We decided to order burgers and fries to-go, and they turned out to be fantastic. The burger patties were generous and juicy, the vegetables were incredibly fresh, and the buns were large and nicely toasted. The fries came with a delicious, peppery seasoning that we both loved. It was very kind of them to accommodate us, and I'm really glad we got to enjoy their food. I look forward to visiting again!"

At 10:39pm, this McDonalds took the order from the car in front of me, I had a mobile order, but by the time I got to the window the person came on the speaker in the drive through and said “we’re closed, that was the last order.” At 10:39pm on a Friday. "I ordered takeout for the first time this evening. It took a couple of tries to get through because they were quite busy. We had the chopped beef and sliced beef sandwiches, and the most challenging part was the drive from Kilgore to Overton, as the aroma filled my truck—it smelled incredible! The sandwiches were absolutely delicious and substantial in size. Be patient with them; they’re a new establishment still working on their routine and handling demand. I’m disappointed that I waited too long and missed out on the homemade banana pudding. We'll definitely be repeat customers!"

"What an amazing place. Our daughter-in-law was shopping around for a new place for all 6 of us to have dinner. She discovered this wonderful Steakhouse. Bob introduced himself seated us at this table by the fireplace. Yes a wood burning, charming fireplace. Bob shared the history of the Stockyard Steakhouse. We all so enjoyed it. Reminded me of home. We all ordered fabulous steaks, that included baked potatoes, beans, salad dinner roll. If that wasn't enough, we were all entertained by a charming young man that sang country music. We had such a great time! We will definitely be back."
