"My friend asked me to meet her at Sneekers, a cafe in Groton I had never patronized. I 'm a recent transplant, having been away from the area for many years. Being a disabled veteran, I looked for but didn 't notice a handicap parking space near the entrance. There is an outdoor seating area in front of the entryway so maybe I missed it. The lot was fairly full, but I easily found a space. My friend and I entered and were met with smiles and hearty greetings from the staff. Very inviting. The tables and chairs are high up, like bar chairs, which made seating that much easier for me. (I have spine/back issues and use a cane. The bar sits in the center of the room with tables and chairs on the periphery. A small stage sits at the rear with a giant moose head affixed above. The noise level is what you would expect but not overwhelming. We seated ourselves and the bartender (a very friendly lady quickly took our order, returned with drinks, and advised the waitress would be along shortly. Menus were quickly provided, a super friendly waitress took our order and returned within five to ten minutes with our food. We had split a hot sandwich and fries, and the wait staff had placed fries and a sandwich half on separate plates, with plenty of food scattered covering the plates. It tasted great, especially the fries, and filled us up. The waitress checked on us often, was very sweet and kind, and was easy to talk with. My friend was on her lunchbreak, so time was a factor, and the Sneekers staff quickly and efficiently seated us, fed us, laughed with us, and made us feel like family. As Arnold said, I 'll be back!"

"As You walk or roll in, their are stairs down to tables, but if you go to the right, there are tables for handicap seating. I also saw a sign for outdoor seating as well.. Arrived, seated, right away served water, and said our waiter would be right over. I waited a bit but asked for some menus while we waited. Eventually, a newbie waiter came over, but I was pleasantly surprised how catering and on top of things he was. For a newbie, I was impressed also was impressed because if he didn't know the answer to my question, he made sure he found the answer. We were served bread with dipping oil. My boyfriend said a million times how delish the bread was, lol. Got our drinks. My boyfriend got a sea foam beer. Great tasting IPA. I ordered our meals. I got a grass fed burger, and my boyfriend got a special of prime rib. Our meals were fantastic. The only thing is no dipping sauce like ranch or honey mustard, but the chef was kind enough to whip me up some homemade honey mustard. The ambiance is really nice and saw a waiter just making sure tables were organized and presentable. The hostess and our waiter came over many times to make sure we were satisfied. We then looked at the dessert to go. I got a seven layer carrot cake that was so yummy. ALSO FINALLY A CARROT CAKE WITH NO NUTS!! A total redo place, in my opinion If you want to come to a place that is on top of customer service, then this is the place. I came for an anniversary dinner. To celebrate my man's life. We had again a phenomenal waitress . Food catering because of my allergies was outstanding. We all had a phenomenal night. They even came out with happy anniversary cake and just made my man so happy . We had champagne called into our table. Top notch place. Again, I had the delicious carrot cake. All the times we have come everything outstanding. Service is impeccable, but every perfect place can't always be perfect . I came in, and the night was just off. Waitress was very pleasant, but she or the cooks in back, not on their game. I ordered the hamburger salad, and what I received was the meatball salad with all my allergies all over it. So, while everyone was enjoying their dinner, I had to wait to even get a meal but still will give this place 5 stars because sometimes the night is just off."

"Koto Steakhouse was typically noisy, if not excessively, but that 's far from the worse. We were a party of four adults, seated with two additional parties, a couple and another party of three. We ordered and shortly we were served the routine fare of soup salad. The soup had a couple extremely thin mushroom slices and maybe three or four tidbits of, I guess vegetable items. The taste was pathetic, the salad mix was good, but the standard ginger dressing was unacceptable. The cook was talented with utensils and earned applause; until he served his offerings. After the short show, he set two of the routine dipping cups, for each patron and without asking, he proceeded to fill them. The couple were first and someone asked what he was putting in the cup. Honey mustard , he replied; when asked for White Sauce , he said they do not have it. He proceeded to fill my cup with Honey mustard, before I could stop him. When told that I don 't want H M sauce, he placed that cup on top of another cup next to me (another grandson); I told him he didn 't want H M sauce either, that went ignored. Next came a poor excuse for Ginger Sauce, which I normally enjoy, not here; it went untouched. As for the meals, at least two of us ordered steak med rare; it was served med well and was assuredly not tender. I 'm from out of town, but I cannot recommend the Koto Steakhouse. It falls far short of many Japanese Steakhouses I 've enjoyed. This negative review is rare for me, I have a wide tolerance for things acceptable and I 've declined to review for routine or mundane food or service. Above average and Outstanding food and/or service will always get a deserved review. Safe travels"
