"We were a party of two and ordered two waters, fresh spring rolls, two sushi rolls, and chicken fried rice. The waitress quickly attended to us when we arrived and brought out the waters and fresh rolls promptly. However, after delivering the rolls, she didn’t take our remaining order. After about 6-8 minutes, I managed to eat half of my fresh roll.
To my dismay, I discovered a long black hair embedded in the sticky rice paper of the other half I was about to eat. It came out as I took a bite, and I have to say, it was an incredibly unpleasant experience that almost made me vomit. When I waited for the waitress to return, it felt like an eternity.
I decided to go inside the restaurant since we were seated outdoors, and when two waitresses came out, neither of them acknowledged my presence as I stood there holding the plate with the hair. I had to say, “Excuse me,” to get their attention. I showed them the hair, and the only response I received was, “Sorry. Do you want another or should I take it off the bill?” I declined a replacement, and she immediately turned away, seemingly unconcerned.
We waited for someone to respond to our request to cancel the rest of our order, but no one came back. Since we only had water, we decided to leave. Suddenly, a waitress rushed out and started taking long photos of us and our vehicle. I got out of the car and went back inside to ask why they thought it was acceptable to photograph me. The staff quickly scurried away.
Eventually, the waitress returned to say she didn’t know why she had taken my picture but added that if it made me feel any better, the photo came out blurry. Then, a rude older Asian woman confronted me, accusing me of trying to skip out on my bill. I explained that my appetizer had hair in it and that we had only received waters. She raised her voice, insisting that I had walked out on my meal while pointing at the chef behind the sushi counter. I reiterated that I no longer wanted anything from their restaurant due to the hair, the lack of professionalism, the uncomfortable encounter, and her attitude.
Overall, I have to say, I won’t be returning. This experience was beyond disappointing!"
