"**Parking:** We had to rely on street parking, and even though we arrived early in the morning, we had to circle the block a few times before we found a spot. Nothing is more frustrating than driving somewhere only to struggle with parking, but fortunately, we eventually found a space, and it was worth it! **Ambiance:** I didn’t take any photos, but the ambiance was pleasant. The layout was open, with a decent amount of seating and some greenery. The big windows at the entrance let in plenty of natural light. It’s not overly fancy—just a nice spot to grab a meal. **Food:** We ordered two breakfast tacos and five regular tacos to share between the two of us. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes! The breakfast tacos were a good size, and the regular tacos were the perfect standard size on corn tortillas. By the end of our meal, we were both quite full. The authenticity and flavor of the tacos were enhanced by the self-serve salsa and toppings bar, which included pico de gallo and pickled onions, reminiscent of traditional taquerias. The meats in the tacos were also very flavorful. **Service:** Ordering was simple: we placed our order at the counter, picked up our food when it was ready, helped ourselves to the toppings and salsas, and disposed of our trash on our way out. Quick and hassle-free! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I’m not sure how Mexican food ranks in Denver overall, but I feel like I hit a gem with this find!"

"Just had a pretty unprofessional and off putting experience here.My pregnant wife had a craving for some sweet potato fries, so I thought it would be a good idea to grab some to go across the street from Park Burger, then I’d have a beer at the brewery while my wife enjoyed her fries. We quickly learned that this brewery is not a brewery, but a restaurant first. The lady bartender approached us outside and said that my wife could not eat outside food there because the brewery sells food. She could sit there, didn’t have to order anything, but the only food allowed to be eaten was from the kitchen. Enforcing a policy would be fine but then she continued and said “you wouldn’t bring outside food to McDonald’s would you?” in a patronizing tone which was pretty unnecessary. So we learned that you can have food with you, you just can’t eat it. I didn’t notice any signage indicating as such, and it’s not obvious (or wasn’t to me at least) that the Gates Deli was the same business as Platt Park Brewing Co. Doesn’t matter if you order some other menu item (like a beer).Just seems like a weird hill to die on. So be warned: definitely don’t let your kids bring any ice cream from across the street, or snack on a clif bar after a hike in this brewery gotta order their food. I’ve not been to another brewery like this. The experience was off putting enough that I’ll probably not be back despite living nearby. The beer was pretty good, if expensive, so I’ll give them a star for that."

"I would recommend with a codicil. The Palace Arms has long been one of my favorite restaurants in the world. In a hotel that is over a century old you would expect changes as it is the nature of the world. If you are looking for days of old when dapper Maitre D shows you in to a luxurious room, with black tie waiters then this is no longer the Palace Arms you remember or I remember as well. In an age where things have become more casual, so has this impressive restaurant. Our hostess was a gothically dressed lovely human and our servers where not in the crisp uniforms of old. They were friendly, kind, and perfunctory, but to my opinion, it was not the service you expect from a restaurant of that caliper, or live up to the history of that room. The room itself has been modified as well with tables where the big luxurious booths have been replaced with tables and stand alone chairs , while the definitely are more functional, they also have squeezed in more tables which initially made us feel a bit cramped. More so the furniture does not match the historic nature of the room, or the luxury of the room for that matter, a higher quality of table would have served them better. All of that said , that is where i would quantify recommending it to a friend. The experience is definitely diminished , however the food was outstanding, the one constant I found was that the meal was superb. So it is pricey, the service is adequate with high notes, our table side Ceasar was amazing, but we sure missed the bananas foster. If I had never been there I would have found it very good , but I do wonder with so many of the corners cut, if it will fall prey to an expensive hotel restaurant which would be a shame as all the pieces are still there, for the amazing experience the Palace arms has a reputation for"
