"Service was great and staff really friendly, although they were very busy and it was hard to get their attention. I ordered fried chicken which arrived in under 3 minutes and frankly was the worst I've ever had. It had obviously been under a hot lampfor a while and I had to tear the chicken open to get through the batter to the meat which was tasteless and greasy. I'dtravelled all day and couldn't bring myself to complain as I was tired but I will never use a cracker barrel again."

"My friends and I visited The Grass Shopper in Morristown. We intended to sit at the bar, but it was busy. The hostess kindly informed us that there were available seats upstairs. The atmosphere was inviting, with beautiful decor and a clean environment. Our appetizers were tasty and the drinks were excellent. We chatted for hours while the friendly and attentive servers took care of us. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place."

"Giving it a 2 cuz the service was good. The food was one star. First the appetizers: cheese curds tasted like they were processed, frozen, shipped across country,and dumped in the fryer. Yuck. Entrees: My BF ordered the Moburger the mushrooms were NOT sauteed, they were straight out of a can. I ordered the special roasted New York Strip steak. It was....odd. It was cooked like a prime rib, but tasted .... Well, not like a steak. The consistency was just weird. The au jus was tasty tho. I ordered the augratin potatoes as my side. I am sure they came straight out a box. Rather blah. I wish I remembered our server 's name, she was good! On the bill, she is #11...!"

"First time I ever ate there and will never eat there again. I always leave great reviews but not for this place. First off the waitress acted like she was miserable and hated her job. It was not busy at all there. No smile, no hi how are you doing todaynothing.. Secondly we ordered the sampler and we got our food before the sampler. Had to ask where the sampler was and thewaitress came back and said it?s hot and just came up. Well that was a lie because it was cold and soggy and we didn?t eat itafter we took one bit. The chicken wrap was dry and plain with no sauce. It was just a wrap and chicken nothing was on it thatthe menu stated. I told the waitress about the food and she acted like she don?t care and walked away. No I?m sorry let mecorrect it or anything. She didn?t even ask to adjust the bill or anything considering we were paying for food we didn?t eat.Absolutely horrible customer service and Horrible food!! Paid $50 dollars for basically 2 drinks and 2 little tacos and aquarter eating wrap!! Everything else we did not eat. Didn?t even touch the sampler because it was cold and soggy. Sodisappointed!!"

"The service was excellent and the food was fantastic! The drive-thru had a really nice atmosphere as well. I'm looking forward to trying the Bo Berry Biscuits later. We ordered the Super Dogs/Birds, which I would rate a perfect 10/10. The 5-piece supreme chicken tenders were also a solid 10/10. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. As for parking, there was plenty available, and there are accessible spots for those with disabilities nearby."

"When my wife discovered this restaurant, she was excited to find out that they offer gluten-free options, so we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, we noticed that the lighting was quite dim, but the decor was charming, and the staff greeted us warmly. The food was impressive, especially for being gluten-free; the marinara sauce for the pizza, spaghetti, and breadsticks was exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Italian cuisine, particularly if it’s your first time trying gluten-free options. My only criticism would be that the seating booths were a bit cramped, making it uncomfortable as the table was too close to us."

"Most the reviews seem to love or hate this place for me it was just ok….Edit: thank you for the owner reply I would definitely be willing to try it again. The good: the staff greeted us when we walked in the door. They took our order quickly, checked on drinks several times and brought the food pretty quickly. Overall 5 stars on service. The restaurant is also very clean. I ordered a thin crust pizza and they do thin crust right. Great crunch. The pricing is also decent. The not so great: where this place started to fall apart for me was after tasting the food. The pizza had a great crunch, the pepperoni was good and it was cooked right. But there is pretty much no other flavor at all. I actually thought maybe it was me and asked the other 4 at the table. We all came to the same conclusion. Pizza, cheese fries, sandwiches. All the same ,everything we ordered was basically flavorless or very minor in flavor. Not sure how they accomplished this. (I will add everyone loved the salad bar bar though) The food is certainly not bad. It just lacks anything to make me want it again or differentiate it from anything else, just bland. The soda was also flat. This place has potential. They are doing many things right. But need to change up ingredients or add some flavoring to otherwise make it worth going there."

"I'll start by saying our first few trips to Circle S were great. We had a large pick up order once and then visited in person a couple of times previous to our last visit and everything was amazing each time. I enjoyed it so much I chose to get my parents a gift card for Christmas so they could try it the first time on me. However, our last visit the food was less than mediocre. My smoked chicken was so dry I literally had to take a drink with each bite and my boyfriends steak was well done instead of medium and had zero flavor. We chalked it up to coming too late in the evening but this weekend my parents decided to use their gift card and purchased two tailgate specials and were extremely disappointed as well. They, too shared that the chicken was extremely dry and the smaller ends of their ribs weren't edible they were so charred. I'm unsure if the kitchen staff has changed or if we were just unlucky to get 2 bad meals back to back but I really hope for the latter. Our service was excellent and the atmosphere was great- the food was just very disappointing."

"As I write this review I am currently sitting at a table with my wife. We are both enjoying the classic grilled cheese with a bowl of tomato soup and chips. A grilled cheese is easy to make at home, buy some cheese and bread throw it together on a pan and violá! A simple easy to make treat. But when it is made by someone with a little imagination, great things can happen. That is what is going on here. A simple food made with great imagination and great ingredients. And the best part, they are open until 3AM! So when you are stumbling out of the bar in search of something good, greesy, and apatitizing this is your place. I can't wait to come back and try the grilled pb&j!"

"When we ordered our sandwiches and went to pay, we realized that the staff member had assumed we wanted small subs. When we pointed out that we wanted large ones, he gave us an annoyed look, sighed, and explained that he would have to delete and re-enter the entire order. To me, it seemed like it would have been simple to ask rather than assume, especially since it was only three sandwiches. He managed to fix the order, but it took about 10 minutes for it to be ready. My sister and her husband were both happy with their Hook and Ladder sandwiches. I chose the Engineer but wasn’t quite as satisfied. While the meat was delicious, the mushrooms didn’t seem to blend well with the rest, and I couldn’t detect any cheese. Overall, the sandwich felt like it was lacking salt. I had also asked for jalapeños and cucumbers. At first, I thought they had forgotten the jalapeños, but I found two slices on my sandwich while eating. I wish there had been more! Perhaps it has been so long since I had Firehouse that I remembered it better than it really was—or maybe not. While I won't be rushing back to this location, I am willing to try another Firehouse in hopes of restoring my faith in the chain."

"I wanted to eat for my sister graduation, my man ordered a 6 uncash filet and loaded backkartoffel when the food came, his steak was boiled and packed into an unknown plastic substrate. the steak was withdrawn after the waiter frustration had expressed that he did not want to eat this steak. it waited 30 minutes until another steak came out and it was cooked over. I wanted to leave it there and pay for our lunch and go when the waiter messed up our ticket and then he said he would fix it. he brought back the reception that said, “Thank you for coming back,” but there was no space to sign for the payment. I asked him about it and he said it was good. I said, okay, and I left it. When I went out of the restaurant, I was screamed to stop at the waiter, who said that he didn't swore my card and I had to pay, so there was no place to sign. overall this is unacceptable and I do not recommend it here. very unprofessional in my opinion, and I am not one too vain, but normally if it is something wrong, like an unknown plastic cooked with the food, it would have been taken out of the ticket. I have paid the full price for this unacceptable service."

The hostess immediately addressed us and told us that in a very rude manner, so they just lost our Business and we were regulars We will never be back very rude waitress/hostess. We tried to call and speak with a manager, but the phones voicemail is full of messages and you can’t get through. It’s sad when you can’t even bring a kids pizza."

"When we arrived, there seemed to be some confusion among the waitstaff. We waited over half an hour after being seated just to get our first drinks, despite the restaurant being only half full. A waiter who wasn't assigned to our table ended up bringing us our bar order. The waitstaff frequently disappeared for long stretches of time. Our appetizers arrived before our drinks, and shortly after we finally got our beverages, our main courses were served. Unfortunately, our waiter never checked in on us after the food was delivered. Additionally, there was a live band playing, which made it nearly impossible to hear or converse with our companions in such a small space. I would not recommend J K."

"Waited in drive through to place an order. We live 25 minutes away and we sit in drive through with a schedule to keep but she was craving some Buddy?s. After waiting 20 minutes we got to the window only to be told their internet was down and theycouldn?t accept credit or debit due to machine needing internet connection to process payments. I get this; computers run ourlives everyday. But when I pulled my wallet out to pay cash where I always keep and emergency $20. Then kid says he will have totalk to the manager and came back and said they can?t take cash because they have no way of receiving cash and calculatingchange with their system. What have we came to we can?t hand one pulled pork dinner out window and take real and not fakeAmerican dollar bills to pay for said dinner and it melts everyone in buildings brains to make a simple non technologicallyaided and legal barter and trade. I like this business too but lately they all seem to be imploding."

"This place is truly on the fence of bad and good. To be fair, the staff at this location are super nice and present. The location is not large so dont bring a large party and plan to eat inside. It for sure simulates the want of takeout and delivery orders over dining in orders. This leads to my experience as in a dining in guest. I had initially planned for my group to eat on site and then venture out after, but plans didn't work out right and only a select few came to eat. Luckily, this happened because they would never have been able to provide for our needs. I arrived prior to my party guest and figured id order since it was fast casual and everyone was going to order separately. Somehow, my food didn't arrive until after a tableguest of mine arrived, placed, and received their order. The staff apologized but didnt offer me a resolution of why my food was taking so long. I snacked on my friends' fries, which i will tell you are amazing. Omg those fries will make me think of trying this spot again for sure. My order arrived and my two tacos were meh at best. The spot was definitely pumping orders for to-go and deliveries out but missed the mark with my food. The tacos arent bad but for 5 dollars a taco u gotta step your game up."

"Delicious, pleasant lunch! My partner and I met a very good friend for lunch in Morristown. This was a first visit to this Chili's location for all of us. In fact, the restaurant looked brand new and is the newest design and look for Chili's. Thedining room is the new open concept with new decor and accents. This location also includes a full service bar. The building andparking area was well maintained and immaculate. The dining and bar areas were very clean. The men's restroom facilities wereclean, however, on the day of my visit, the urinal was broken. The server and service was excellent. Our server was veryefficient and friendly. On this particular visit, the grill was broken, so there was no beef dishes being served. Therefore, that helped all of us make a quick menu decision. I enjoyed my favorite Chili's meal; Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers withfries and steamed broccoli. My meal was served fresh and hot, absolutely delicious!! My partner enjoyed the Chicken Crispersdinner and our friend enjoyed a house salad with crispy chicken. The atmosphere was perfect and it is an excellent location tomeet, visit and dine with friends. If you're in the Morristown area you have many food and dining options, however I stronglyand highly recommend this Chili's location!!"

"I can't express enough how wonderful our experience was at this restaurant tonight. Let's start with the food: the fried pickles were absolutely fantastic. Not one of them was soggy, which is quite an accomplishment and surprising. They might be the best I've ever tasted. I ordered the chicken fried steak with potatoes and mac and cheese, while my wife had the chicken fajitas. Both dishes were incredibly fresh and outstanding. Now, for the most important part— the service was exceptional, almost like we were in a high-end, five-star restaurant. We were greeted by our server just minutes after sitting down. Since we had our child with us, the server even offered to bring out his food first so he could eat while we enjoyed our meals—it's the little things that matter. When my wife's dish arrived, it had a slightly charred smell. Without us even mentioning it, the server noticed right away and insisted on replacing the dish, even though my wife would have eaten it anyway. Did I mention the little things? We expected it might take a while to remake, but it was clearly rushed through the kitchen. Maybe we just happened to visit on a good night, but that alone is enough reason to recommend dining here. The staff truly cares and sets a high standard. Excellent job!"
