"Corny story: So I watch ALOT of Hell's Kitchen. I have kept up with the majority of the mainstream culinary world since I was 7 and wanted to be a chef myself. My amazing waiter Adil asked how I found out about this place and I told him the above and I saw Wolfgang on an episode which made me go do research and that rabbit hole brought me to Cut while planning my fiancés birthday trip. He told Chef Andrew that a few foodies were here and he brought a cute little sample of something with crab and it was amazing. The bread was STUPID good. I mean, for a red neck from middle GA that works in the service industry, I wouldn't have ever dreamed of food let alone BREAD being that good. I felt like a duck in a pond. My steak was heavenly. I mean I will be dreaming of that steak for a while. Just simply great. I am not a rich or wealthy person so I never thought this kind of art was within my reach. Y'all have made not only an amazing birthday dinner, but my dreams of what I thought culinary was supposed to be come true. Magical evening even though for y'all it was probably just a Saturday."

"Wow. 10/10 experience overall. The bartender made me the best gin cocktail I’ve ever had and showed that he knew his expertise in bartending. Atmosphere is super inviting and welcoming with great vibes overall. I had the garlic bread (something so simple but out of this world), calamari, and chicken marsala which were all delicious and flavorful. Would recommend this place to anyone!"

"This restaurant truly is a neighborhood gem. The menu is creative, and the service is outstanding. This was my third visit, and each meal has been unforgettable. My only suggestion is that the butter should be taken out of the refrigerator a few hours before serving to ensure it’s soft enough to spread on the delicious bread they offer (the same applies for spreading on pancakes during brunch). Other than that, this place is fantastic!"

"They didn 't have their vegan cheese, so that was a bummer, and they could use spinach as an option for their build-your-own 'za, but we the pizza we had was delicious. The staff is so kind and attentive and professional. Awesome. I wish they kept the lights a bit dimmer, and the noise level was a bit higher than I 'd prefer, but overall, a good experience. The staff contributed to that immensely."

"We ascended the hotel steps and elevators, were quickly seated at a little 2 person sofa with a direct view of a bit dumb building but a panoramic view that included the Capitol building, the marina, and the east potomac park. Most of the food items seem better suited for late evening less so for direct sunlight and 90 degree temperatures but the pretzel and dip situation was outstanding regardless. They were out of a number of drink items but the Old Fashioned and beer selections worked well. A few cocktails seemed a bit overdone not quite a balanced product in the end but no matter. The staff were friendly and attentive, the seating was varied and spread out nicely, and we enjoyed our 90 minutes."

"It was a Saturday afternoon, so the crowd was loud as they supported their favorite teams, but the food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Mirella (spelling? was prompt, got our orders right and checked in on a good schedule (not too often, not too far apart . I ordered the Walters Salmon Salad and it was great. The salmon was cooked to perfection and I loved the watermelon and blueberries. I usually can only eat about half of a salad at Walters, but I ate the whole dang thing. Excellent!"

"This spot has a lot of character. I was here for a work dinner with a group of people so we had a prix menu. Very limited. The food was bland. The regular food outside our section did look much more colorful and tasty so hopefully it tastes better but I would not recommend it for a group outing. The server was not helpful at all. "I expected more based on the reviews. I am a bit of a Peruvian snob since I travel all over and try Peruvian everywhere as part of my travels. I have to say the food was a 7.6 out of 10 overall. First they didn't have a few plates we requested like the Octopus and the Seco but they did have the ceviches. The Rocoto Ceviche was better than the classic but I felt it was a bit salty and the fish was not cut properly for this dish. The Aji de Gallina was cheesy which I thought was strange as it shouldn't be. The Yucca Truffle was salty but the sauce that it came with was very nice. All and all it wasn't all the rave but decent. The service was nice and on time so for that I was happy. Again I enjoyed the dinner I am a little picky due to my past experiences. So if you are like me you will understand this post"

"The Banging Shrimp was old and the cook tried to salvage it by glazing it. I didn't realize it until I was missing my dinner party because my hind parts were glued to the restaurant toilet from eating spoiled shrimp. My G.I. tract is still mad at me. When you book on Open Table, please be aware that Thursday nights require you to spend $55 automatically on your meal alone. I was not privy to this info until I was shuffled around from table to table because the seating staff are unorganized and inefficient. The GM wasn't helpful and my Birthday night was a bust."

"We went to this place on Valentine’s Day. very good atmosphere, we ordered muscles and seafood jambalaya and snapper. The muscles and the seafood jambalaya were cold unfortunately, and the service was very slow. The snapper was delicious and freshly made. The service and the temperature of the food took away from the experience. Food was kind of pricey for that kind of experience if they fix those things I think they would be better."

"I made a reservation for Valentine's Day at 9:30 PM on February 11. On February 13, I received a follow-up email confirming my reservation for that time, which I appreciated. However, when my date and I arrived, the concierge informed us that they unfortunately couldn’t accommodate us before 9:30. I was puzzled as to why I was able to book a reservation if it couldn’t be honored. I was told that their reservation system allows bookings even when they can’t actually accept them. They then suggested I reschedule for another day. It was frustrating that no one reached out to inform me after my reservation was deemed invalid for three days. It felt like we were completely overlooked in this situation. My date had traveled 45 minutes only to be met with disappointment on Valentine's Day. From now on, I will call to confirm all reservations directly."
