"We ascended the hotel steps and elevators, were quickly seated at a little 2 person sofa with a direct view of a bit dumb building but a panoramic view that included the Capitol building, the marina, and the east potomac park. Most of the food items seem better suited for late evening less so for direct sunlight and 90 degree temperatures but the pretzel and dip situation was outstanding regardless. They were out of a number of drink items but the Old Fashioned and beer selections worked well. A few cocktails seemed a bit overdone not quite a balanced product in the end but no matter. The staff were friendly and attentive, the seating was varied and spread out nicely, and we enjoyed our 90 minutes."

Had a wonderful experience at WC! It was the perfect way to start our evening. Will definitely be back.

Restaurant menu is extremely limited which make it hard to have meal or sub stainable food with drinks.

Our server had no energy or customer friendliness. The food menu was very limited ‘adult snacks’ only. We left. Visualizza piatti

The drinks were mediocre and the food was good, but nothing special. The chairs were incredibly uncomfortable they were very low and set deep zero back support. Slouching while having a cocktail is not a good look.

We had a table outside with gorgeous views of the city. The music is chill, the noise very tolerable and the drinks overpriced, everything you'd expect from a place like this. It was exactly what I was hoping for and delivered on all fronts. Will definitely be back.

Drinks were great. Service was ok. Very kind yet definitely didn’t see server for like 30 mins and then I had to find them to get my check. I didn’t have food as the server did not even try to ask if any of the food could be made based on an intolerance. View was great though. Visualizza piatti

The Margherita Pizza was essentially a standard cheese pizza. It tasted okay, but it didn’t meet my expectations for what I was willing to pay. After ordering our first round of drinks, we found ourselves repeatedly waving over our server to order more. It's disappointing, as they offer fantastic cocktails and have a lovely rooftop setting, but unfortunately, the food and service fell short of what I had hoped for.

Good, Bad Ugly... Staff was pleasant upon arrival, handled a seating issue very nicely. Views of the wharf are great and the set up atop the roof is unique. Drink service was slow and haphazard. We were meeting another couple, upon seating them (we arrived earlier) they did not ask them for a drink order. Drinks were good but pricey. For all it takes to get a reservation and get up to the rooftop not something we’d do again. Despite saying you need to order a food item, they never asked us if we wanted something. Did not matter, we were going to dinner after the drinks.

"I typically always forget to write google reviews but this place deserves every word I have to say. I found this spot because the luggage storage app, bounce, sent me here to hold my bags while I toured apartments for the day. Before I left my bags, I decided to try a quiche which was so much better than expected. Growing up in my father's deli, I tend to have high standards for most food because I can usually recognize good ingredients so safe to say I was definitely pleasantly surprised with my quiche. Around mid-day I fell walking around in NoMa and severely hurt my knee. Rather than continuing my tours for the day I decided to come back to pick up my bags and potentially go to the airport to arrive early for my flight. When I got to Old City Market and Oven, they actually gave me ice for my knee and let me sit downstairs uninterrupted. While I was downstairs the cashier told me to call the number in case I needed anything so they can come down and help because they didn't want me walking up the stairs for anything stupid. To say they were sweet was understatement, the level of care I received felt like I was in one of my dad's restuarants growing up which in my opinion is not something you see these days. I decided to have a pizza while I waited because another customer said it was amazing. Even though I was skeptical due to the paper menu, they really did their big one with that pear pizza. This spot really made my day and it makes me happy establishments at this tier still exist."

"For a special occasion, make a reservation at Michelin star Reverie, a small restaurant inside a Georgetown alley. If you 're lucky, you 'll meet Poppy the Alley Cat that is taken care of by the community, including by the staff at Reverie. My wife dined at Reverie on a Thursday evening. Here 's our experience. 1) Experience: It 's a Michelin star restaurant so expect superb service. It 's clear that the chef is passionate about his craft and his passion is contagious. Every staff member from our server to the chefs who brought out our food, everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. Throughout the stay, we were given wet towels to wash our hands in between snacks. Our water glasses were kept full. If we really loved a dish, our server would point out elements or teach us tips on how to use similar flavors at home. The journey begins with savory snacks and ends with sweet ones. Since the menu changes often, a copy of your dinner 's meu is given to you to take home at the end. It 's a perfect memento, especially if you 're celebrating something special. 2) Food: Reverie 's menu changes, but whatever you 're served will be innovative, fresh, and full of flavor. It 's also a tasting menu. When we went in May 2025, the menu included 17 different bites/dishes. The meal starts and ends with three small bites. The next nine dishes mainly included seafood and one was elk. Every dish is presented on a design-forward plate and came in full color and plated perfectly. A sign of a good restaurant is perfection in every dish and there wasn 't a bad one. We thoroughly enjoyed every single one, but our favorites were the Scallop, which comes in a fun sunchoke cracker sandwich, Hiramasa with juniper and caviar, and the Carolina Gold Rice. 3) Drink: Reverie 's drink menu comes with cocktails named after neighborhoods from around the world, wine, and other options. The Golden Gai is now my wife 's favorite Old Fashioned. She ordered two. For a sweeter refreshing cocktail, get the Old San Juan. For a refreshing, but sherry-forward cocktail, I recommend the Roma Notre. The dinner begins with chilled tea for all and it is very tasty. Savor it. At the end, you 'll have an opportunity to order more tea. Each blend is unique. I recommend any of it. 4) Price: It 's $245 a person for the tasting menu and additional prices for drinks, but for a quality dinner experience, it could be more expensive. We found it to be a fair price, especially for a special occasion. 5) Space: It 's beautiful! The design is not ornate, but rather simple, making it classy. There are two unisex restrooms in the back. When you sit down, you 're offered small stools to place your phones, belongings, etc. 6) Neighborhood: Inside an alley, there 's much to explore nearby from other top restaurants, cafes, and historic homes. We usually find street parking nearby by the Georgetown Waterfront Park. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
