"UPDATE OCTOBER 2023: We had only ordered take out from Terakawa before. Today, we opted for dining in. We had to downgrade the place by one star. The dining room is very cramped. The distance between tables is almost nonexistent, so elbow rubbing with other diners is inevitable, with zero privacy (unlike very comfortable seating in Sumi Ramen in Plainsboro, next door). The service is super rushed. Our appetizers and the main courses arrived exactly at the same time, which considering our miniscule table for two was quite inconvenient. The food and the pricing remain good. We had ordered a take out from Terakawa Ramen last night. Very positive experience. Our choice was Kyushu Danji Ramen (natural heritage pork bone soup with mayu oil (dark roasted leek with crushed garlic oil) with medium thick noodle topped with roast pork (charshu), bamboo shoot, red ginger, seasoned boiled egg, kikurage mushroom, cabbage, carrot, and bean sprout) and it was very good. The amount of food, such as noodles, the ramen soup itself, the pork and the fillings was plentiful. We can honestly say that the portion was enough to feed two people. The packaging was great, the food was still hot, as if it were served in a restaurant. The restaurant features chef driven recipes from Kumamoto region in Japan. We will definitely order from Terakawa again."
