"We found this restaurant in the Southern Exposure magazine and read the reviews. Most of them were positive so we decided to try it. Boy what a disappointment!! We ordered appetizers, pimento and hoe cakes to start. The pimento was soooooo salty that it made it inedible. The hoes were good but plain without the pimento! Then we ordered the grilled romaine which came out very soggy. Ingredient wise it sounded potentially amazing. But it was not well executed. Lastly were the pork belly lettuce wraps. It was a bad marriage of flavors and the pork was a little tough. And that's as far as we got because we were so disappointed we decided to get up and leave and cut our losses and eat our main course elsewhere. We also ordered coffee and even that was disappointing. So whoever was cheffing tonight did not seem to have his/her/their/it's heart in it. A lot of potential but mainly disappointment. Taylor, our server, was great!! We pride ourselves in choosing really restaurants and even though tonight was not good, I'm sure there must have been some really good nights based on the reviews. Tonight was not one of them."

Nice old house. Not having a standard menu was a negative to me- and my choice turned out to be a poor one. Steak was chewy, flavorless. I honestly did not expect much- and we got that accordingly. 2 out of 4 people in our party enjoyed their meal. Visualizza piatti

Incredible food, wonderful service, and beautiful ambience. Our dinner lived up to every expectation. Our table ordered duck breast, flatbread, and steak frites and every bite impressed. Our server Rylynn was so sweet and accommodating. We will definitely be back soon!

The good Entrées were delicious. I highly recommend the scallops. The crab cakes were so salty, to the point they were barely edible. Service was okay. To be fair, we had the bartender so it was a lot for one person. Overall, we had a good experience. It wasn't great but solid.

Pretty good. Atmosphere was a great little house. Owner was at table next to us. Next to them a table of 4 of the LOUDEST people in their 60's. I would have kicked them out. Very rude. Had no clue there were other people there. Food was good. Had the pork chop. It was a little dry. Wife had fish and it was good. Hoe cakes and pine to cheese. Pretty good. We'll give it another try. Love the food, love the environment, so so on the prices. The grilled cheese was really tasty but... 18 dollars. That's just a lot of money. I get it, it is in Leipers Fork, but still... With all that being said I did enjoy my experience there. But if it was less expensive, I would go a lot more often. So until prices adjust, I will be a casual patron, maybe once every 3 months, only because I can't bring myself to spend almost 20 bucks on a grilled cheese.

My mom and I stumbled upon this restaurant and were lucky to get a table with no reservation! This little house may be one of the most charming restaurants I have ever dined at. It's gorgeously decorated with antiques, without feeling tacky at all. I went with the steak frites, which was phenomenal. The steak was almost buttery, the texture was so good and the sauce on the fries was delicious. My mom got the fish and said it was delicious. We ended the meal with possibly the most delicious chocolate cake I've ever had, paired with a divine chocolate mousse and regrettably a cherry sauce (it would have been PERFECT without). The prices here are high and the menu is small, but I highly recomme...
