"The atmosphere was great, but the food left much to be desired. We were among the first to arrive as our reservation was at 5PM, we immediately placed our order for an appetizer, the pork belly lettuce wraps, which were amazing. Then we placed our entrée orders when we received our drinks. As we were eating our appetizer, I noticed the table that came in after us got bread... I didn't see it on the menu so I asked if we could get some for our table too. Then another table that came in after us received bread as well, while we were waiting for our entrees, which I thought odd considering I asked for it before they even arrived. We finally received our bred after the table had been cleared of entrees.. it was probably about 20-30 minutes after we sat down and we were told our food would be out shortly. Not the end of the world, but I felt the timing could have been better. Another 10-15 went by and it was after 6PM when we got our food, which given what we paid, the chicken and duck entrees were VERY lackluster. The hind quarter of my duck was piping hot, while the breast portion was lukewarm at best. The chicken in my wives entre was about the same temperature as my duck breast. This tells me there was a prep issue with the hind quarter and the rest of the food was most likely finished before the quarter- also explaining the wait time. Then the mushrooms and potatoes on the chicken entrée was just flat out inedible. The mushrooms were a chewy rubber texture and were basically cold. The potatoes had a sear on the outside and hard on the inside. Essentially, the accoutrements on both dishes were somehow worse than the already subpar entrees. I RARELY leave negative reviews as I've worked in the industry in the past and realize some places have off days... but given the price we paid and the quality/timing of the food it just left a sour taste in our mouths. I was expecting much more and drove an hour to come here but was very disappointed."

The food took more than an hour to be ready. The portions were small and overpriced

Extremely amazing European caliber cuisine with the coolest possible Tennessee ambiance. An absolute favorite.

Wonderful restaurant that treated us very well on our anniversary. Started with Salmon toast. For entree's we had Filet served with an egg, sides of mashed potatoes and broccolini and 5-Spice Duck with carrots and sweet potato; unfortunately I have forgotten the name of the dessert but it was amazing. We arrived for a 5:00 reservation, we ordered drinks and an appetizer and no one ever offered to take our entree order. After finishing our appetizer and drinks we waited thirty minutes and asked for our check. Other dinners seated at the same time, where already on desert. The appetizer and the cocktails were good.

I’m shocked at how great a meal here must have been for others on other days. We didn’t get waited on for over a half hour the flat bread was delicious, as was the duck and the chocolate dessert the other two entrees were terrible the lettuce wraps were almost inedible arriving with a sloppy presentation, the risotto was gummy and bland our waitress was delightful but service was painfully slow!!!! Won’t come back or recommend to others. Service: Dine in

I know many know this place and this was our first time. Drive was lovely to this quaint town. This is so Tennessee to me. Just walking up I loved this place. Small intimate location as you approach. Not many tables so y'all need reservations. Greeted with a great Old Fashioned and great drinks from the bar. We had the chicken flatbread with chicken and the risotto. Both were delicious especially if you love mushrooms. The plates were generous and the service was good. Great atmosphere and worth the drive. Great place for a date but probably less for a big party. Gem in Leipers Fork. Look forward to it next time. View menu

Fine dining in Leiper’s Fork, a small town by any measure? Yes, indeed. Chef and restaurant can hold their heads high for this performance. The menu and drink selection is small, but what they offer is good and well executed. My scallops with risotto could hold their own against anything in the Nashville area: scallops perfectly cooked with no trace of overcooking, the squid inked risotto both crisp and chewy in proper measure, the whole dish well composed. My wife’s fish was flakey and tasty as well. Appetizers and desert completed a dining experience that was well worth coming here. The place itself is an old building with, well, old building issues it was cold that day, and the heaters we...

I very very rarely give a negative review, but in this case it is warranted. My husband and I decided to try lunch here for the first time. We waited 6-7 minutes to be acknowledged at the hostess station, then were seated in a dining room with 2 other tables, with another larger table in the other room. We watched the hostess walk past us no less than half a dozen times over a period of 9-10 minutes, (taking drinks one by one to another table) never spoke to us, or even offered a glass of water. Finally (after being there a total of more than 15 minutes) a waiter took the drink order at the table next to us and gave them the names of the soup of the day and the special. He came to our table...
