"The restaurant itself is small and outdated. Upon arrival, we were directed to the back near the restrooms. No one came to our table to give us menus. I had to walk to the front and ask for it. There were a lot of teenagers with their sports gear all over the floor. Once a table opened up in the front, we asked if we could move. After that, the service improved. The food was pretty good. Not sure if I would return…maybe if I am in the area."

This is my favorite little restaurant in the Hewlett/Woodmere area. The food is superb, whether for breakfast or lunch. The portions are generous, and the service is quick and outstanding. We keep returning time after time. I absolutely love it!

There are plenty of delicious vegan options for breakfast here, though the tofu scramble could use a bit more salt and pepper. Don't worry about the hash browns—they're vegan too and are cooked without butter. If a café near my home can offer great vegan breakfast choices, why can't international restaurant chains like IHOP do the same?
