Had the special, chicken carnitas, the veggies with the chicken were perfect for my taste, very savory, nicely caramelized, chicken was just rivht not dry or underdone. I ordered a pozole to go and made sure to ask for lime and cabbage before I left because you know that’s what you put in pozole and when I opened it at my work I had basically a cup of juice with very little pozole at the bottom and my requested cabbage was lettuce not very authentic if you ask me and there was not enough pozole in there to fill up my 8 yr old child

This used to be our favorite restaurant, and we even left rave reviews for them, but since COVID, the quality has really declined. Our most recent visit was a stark contrast to what we remembered. The fajitas were cheaper and tougher, the enchiladas were lackluster, and even the salsa, which used to be quite good, has fallen significantly in quality. I'm not sure if there’s been a change in management, cost-cutting measures, or new cooks, but what I do know is that we won't be returning. El Mescal has far surpassed this place and has easily taken Agavero's spot as our new favorite.

We used to LOVE going here, but the last few times, we 've been treated quite poorly. I 'm not sure why. We are great tippers, and we loved our waitress who would always take us. The last few times have gradually gotten worse, so it 's not a 'maybe just an off night ' for them. They used to seat us in a table that would fit our group, but squished us into a booth with a chair in the back corner this last time, (there was a large table that could accommodate us, but they opted to cram us in the back). They didn 't clear the table from the appetizers (NO room on the table for our meal). we had to stack ourselves and ask them to move it... remember we couldn 't even fit in the booth. After our...
