What's not to love about a farm to table restaurant!? Allegory is a great not so hidden gem in Downtown Naperville. Staff was very friendly, the vibe was lively and our meal was fresh. I am looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu! Check it out!Food: 5/5

Loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere and our server was terrific. I ordered the shrimp amd grits and unfortunately was disappointed with the flavor. I'll probably come back and try Here chickie chickie Chicken or a veggie sanfwich. Chef owned restaurant with farm to table theme.

We went here for a day date for lunch and we enjoyed cocktails, the burrata appetizer, a short rib entree and the chicken and waffles. The portions were more than enough for us to eat and everything was delicious. We look forward to going back again as the menu changes with what's local and available. Visualizza piatti

I came for my birthday and chose this restaurant. I loved the ambience of this place, it was very lovely. Our server was awesome and accommodated us very well. The skirt steak was amazing, although the Brussel sprouts were on the salty side and the rice was extremely citrusy. I would definitely come back to give the other dishes a try.

We had a wonderful dining experience from beginning to end. The service was top-notch and the food was amazing. The prices were reasonable and the portions were generous. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit in downtown Naperville. There are plenty of parking options within walking distance and lots of other places to explore nearby as well.

Went here for a late lunch and there was place to sit in a pretty dining area. All the staff were sweet and overheard that everything on the menu is made from scratch so even when one of the desserts we wanted wasn’t available. It wasn’t even a bummer. Everything tastes great and would come again anyway. And the dishes we were served on were so cute. All for an affordable price and cater to my partners vegetarian diet. Visualizza piatti

The food was great and the menu and atmosphere was charming. Pretty date spot! This is my second time here and again the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I love their decorations! It was really pretty in December. They have a pig on the wall that they dress up and that’s pretty funny. Great food and prices (average for Downtown Naperville. Great vegetarian burger, mac and cheese, and magic mushroom burger! Amazing farm to table food.

I recently visited this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness and freshness of their fries. They were absolutely satisfying and made for a great snack. However, I was a bit taken aback by the price. Two orders of fries ended up costing me over $21, which seemed a bit high for such a simple treat. Despite the cost, the flavor and quality of the fries were outstanding, and I can see why some would be willing to spend a little extra for them. If the price was more reasonable, I would definitely make this place my regular go-to for fries. However, if you don't mind splurging a bit for some excellent fries, it's well worth a visit!

The first time I tried Allegory was in late Dec 2021 and ordered their shrimp grits and it was the optimal balance of shrimp (5) to grits. I recently ordered the shrimp grits again in late June 2022 but this time during dinner (to-go) but was not made aware that there was going to be an additional 4 shrimp to the dinner portion with a moderate price upcharge. I still enjoyed the shrimp grits but the blackened seasoning this time around was on the more salty side, but still enjoyable. However, I felt that there should have been just a bit more grits added with the now 9 pieces of shrimp. One thing I do have to say is that the grits was on-point.
