"I visited related; I don't live in a crowd. it was suggested that we eat at alvin ord. the sandwiches were very tasty and quite large, but I was extremely taken back when the bank asked me if I wanted to add a tipp to my credit card payment. remember that this is a counter-order/counter pick-up place; these employees are not paid the mere server wage. there is absolutely no service here. I found this so sticky and inappropriate that I won't be back."

I can only say that since 1991 I was stationed there in the 80s and we still think about how good these sandwiches were.

the cash that took our order was not very nice. but the food was delicious! I recommend the salvation. man and I separated a big one and we were filled.

Absolutely the best! Made a 60 mile roundtrop from HHI 2 days in a row to two get the turkey roast beef sandwich. Always flovourful tasty, no processed meats here. Get it on the french bread.

I don't know how anyone couldn't love this place! The sandwiches are always fresh and well made. I've never left here hungry or unhappy. If you're a big water and think you can handle it I'd highly recommend attempting the large size sandwich, but honestly it usually feeds me and a brother or me my girlfriend and my mom

It's my salvation. If you liked Schlotzsky's sandwiches, you'll love Alvin Ord's. The Salvation is the same sandwich as Schlotzsky's which in turn was modeled on the muffuletta sandwich they discovered in an Italian grocery store in the French Quarter of New Orleans minus the olives. Their sandwiches come on homemade french or wheat bread. Try it once and you will be hooked for life.
