"Discovered this hidden gem tucked away just beyond the busy plaza de Santa Fe. Everything is handmade, fresh from scratch. You can even see some of the dumplings being made by hand as you order. We started off with some steamed Bao and some soup Bao. Both very very good! We also enjoyed some beef noodle soup which had a generous portion of beef in it. We also enjoyed the shrimp fried noodles and vegetable fried noodle dishes. Both has tons of fresh ingredients and were delicious! You can add spice to you dish as well by choosing one of three levels of spice. That was a nice touch! Just one word of advice to the chef, my shrimp were very over cooked and were tough and chewy. Other than that, everything was superb, including the service!"

"Great atmosphere and ambiance. The setting for outdoor dining-along the river with a wonderful deck and patio-makes for a wonderful summer dining experience. Our waiter was excellent. The food was very good, but not amazing. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Bend."

"This is a cute little restaurant. We ate out back in a very nice area. We ordered onion rings and an olive plate to begin. They were both very good. It was our dinner itself that we were disappointed in. My friend ordered the crab cake dinner. It was one medium sized cake rather than a number of small cakes. She was not at all happy with it. I ordered French onion soup which I enjoyed. I also ordered a pear/ walnut salad with raspberry vinaigrette. For $12, the salad was very small and it had a different salad dressing. When I asked our waiter, he said that's the size it is and said nothing about the dressing, even though I saw other salads c e out that were larger. We were very frustrated to pay the expensive prices when we were not happy with our food!"

"We had a reservation on their first night open for months March Cristian, Gerrit, and the Sassella crew clearly did a ton of preparation. It was a fantastic evening. They have a new and amazing menu it was a bit difficult to decide which items to choose, which will keep us coming back. The service was superb they kicked it up a notch, which is great. The staff is all so warm, kind, and professional at the same time and they all work very well together. Finally, we had an excellent Italian red wine which went great with our meals. They really nailed their reopening!!"

"My wife and I wanted a nice, relaxed place to sit outside and have a fun dinner. We were very disappointed with the service. It took our waiter about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity while waiting to order drinks). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and water, but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We haven't seen our server in a long time. We felt our starter was a bit delayed when foodrunners showed up with our starters. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But by this point we were already in the middle of the meal. The food tasted good. Nothing out of the ordinary, but not bad. I admit the nachos were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered had breadcrumbs but that was missing. Fortunately, the server took care of it pretty quickly. We were never asked if we would like to have our drinks refilled. And after dinner we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. Neither of the problems on their own would have been a big deal, but together it made a somewhat uncomfortable experience. The waiter was nice and apologized. They also put together the starter for us which was lovely. Maybe it was a free night or maybe a new server but can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambience was nice."
