"Tonight was our first visit and I have to say I’m upset I’ve lived so close and never went in. The service was outstanding and the food was great. They made the place look great for outdoor dining and we had a great time. It seems everyone knows everyone who goes here and the cook would come out to greet people all night. Can’t wait to go back"

This is a spacious local bar in Ocean Gate with an impressive selection of beers. We ordered the pizza, and it was quite decent—perfect for recharging after a night out. Pizza Adventures: Destination #85.

I've been coming to Anchor Inn for over 45 years. I love the atmosphere. And I love the pizza. I came the other day and got some Manhattan Clam Chowder for lunch, not disappointed. I'm probably 45 years old.

Enjoyed my steak a lot. Wasn't too expensive. I wouldn't call what they brought out a salad. Mostly iceberg lettuce with some dressing thrown on top. If you're coming here for the salad you're coming for the wrong reasons.

Always start with garlic shrimp appetizer then get Delmonico steak with baked potato use the garlic butter from garlic shrimp for my potato. So delicious. Their pizza is good also. I’ve had their chicken anchor too. Get a lot for your money
