"I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant! The service was friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The food was freshly prepared, arrived quickly, and was delicious. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of traveling. As for parking, there was plenty of space for my U-Haul truck. I dined in for dinner, and the meal price was very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. Highly recommended!"

"Such a great place for this cute town! Servers were friendly, and the food came out fast! The bread they start you with was AMAZING. I will come back just for that. Portion sizes were large and their angle food cake dessert was a perfect finish. With really great fresh berries and such a great crust on the cake. I would definitely reccomend this place. Kid friendly: 3/5. their bathrooms weren't great. They did have booster/high chair accommodations. Their menu had item suitable for children. Mostly street parking (I prefer spacious lots for stroller or car seat accessibility and saftey) Accessibility : 1/5 while their tables can accommodate wheelchairs, the entrance is elevated and would make walkers and any type of wheel chair difficult. Bathrooms/sink was not good for wheelchair use. Booths are not accessible."

"Placed a to go order after being on the lake all day. They called and didn’t have the mushrooms for the burger so I switched to the burger with queso and green chiles. Went inside to get the order and several kids just stared at me before offering to help. We get to the cabin and the burger was so over cooked it was rock hard. It was black on both side and taste like a piece of charcoal. My wife and I tossed the food in the trash and made sandwiches. 10/10 would not recommend."

"Fantastic dining experience! The patty melt and pork tenderloin were both incredibly tasty. The portion of the pork tenderloin was so generous that it provided enough for two meals. Miaha and Brianna provided excellent service! I also really enjoyed the new decor. The only downside was a customer who came in and had a phone conversation that lasted about 15 minutes, which was audible to the entire restaurant."

"We stopped at the tank and discovered that the fuel gauge on our truck was broken. We were towing a 26 ft. auto-hauler with a car in it, and fortunately, it felt like divine intervention was at play! Behind the tank, there’s a welding station that quickly fixed our hitch. Nearby, there’s the Oak Tree Inn before reaching the welding shop, and Pennys Diner right next to the inn. It really seemed like everything fell into place just when we needed it. After a few days without a good bed or a decent meal, we were relieved. We transport cars across the country, so we really appreciated the help we received. The staff at the diner were fantastic, and the kitchen served excellent food. The ruby cake was absolutely delicious—I wish I could have more! Thank you all, and may you be blessed!"
