"Babu Ji serves good food in a lovely but noisy setting. Unfortunately, the good food was marred by the poor service we received. Although the waiter seemed nice, he was trying to foist a tasting menu on the four of us that we simply did not want for various dietary reasons. The waiter only stopped pushing the tasting menu on us when I explained that I had a dairy allergy and could not eat most of the food. He also seemed very distracted so much so he forgot what one of us ordered for a cocktail mere minutes before. Even worse, it took nearly 25 minutes for us to receive our drink order, which was really annoying. Guests that were seated 15 minutes after we were received their drinks first, which simply made no sense given that I ordered a glass of wine and my husband ordered a beer. Mind you, the waiter was apologetic, but this kind of inconsistency was pervasive throughout the evening. The staff needs to be better trained given the price of the food there. Unfortunately, we will not be back. It 's a shame really we love Indian food but to drive 2 1/2 hours for a meh but expensive dining experience is disappointing."

I’ve taken and will continue to take any visiting friends or local friends for a meal. The menu is unique and seasonally updated and the service is fast and friendly, always. This is my favorite dinner spot in NYC Visualizza piatti

We went all the way there they weren’t even open for brunch! So I don’t know if it’s their fault or open table’s fault for still allowing me to make a reservation when they are no longer open for brunch! We were NOT happy about that! Especially since we are all the way from LA don’t live local to this restaurant

Maybe because it was a Sunday the food was generally not fresh and felt like it had been sitting for a while, the prix fixe was way too much food for one person so while I got a taste of many dishes, it wasn’t very tasty.
