Ballo Italian Restaurant at Mohegan Sun boasts a beautiful and stylish ambiance. They have a limited selection of gluten-free options, including gluten-free pasta. However, it's unfortunate that they don’t offer a gluten-free brand that would complement the Italian cuisine. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was truly delicious.

Came here on a Saturday in December for a romantic dinner. It was late and pretty quiet. Our server was outstanding! Top Notch! Food and drinks were amazing! I ordered the Burrata Special and the Chicken Francese. Very sexy and romantic spot tucked away in the Casino. Makes you feel like you're in a sexy cafe in Italy. Will definitely go back!

I love the food here. I was greeted by Kaci, the manager. We sat in front and there was a lively crowd at the bar that roared on the football match. Bread and a beautiful garlic bread appetizer came by. Our server had a restaurant weekly menu. I made the menu with salad, duck and 2 canollis. The chicken was tenderly cut and loved the vegetables. The service and atmosphere are outstanding. The meatball appetizer and mussels in tomato broth were absolutely delicious. The fresh grated cheese and pepper was a nice addition. The marinated pork chop with fontina and fingerling potatoes was to die for and I ordered a homemade pasta wrapped around beef and lightly tossed in sauce. We had vanilla and hazelnut Gelato which is served with mini almond biscotti. We will defenitely be back!

I had an amazing experience at Ballo! The menu is excellent, and the service is incredibly fast. I would definitely travel all the way to Mohegan just for this restaurant. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and provided great drink recommendations. The garlic bread was delicious, packed with fresh cheese. I highly recommend trying the mushroom gnocchi and the spicy rigatoni; they’re both fantastic! You’ll leave feeling completely satisfied!

I started with the "New Clothes of the Empress" gin cocktail, which was juicy and delightful—I ended up having two! For appetizers, I tried the meatballs and the burrata plate, both of which were excellent. For my main course, I ordered one of the specials, the duck, which I felt was worth the $55 price tag. However, I was disappointed by the lack of seafood quantity. The lobster was a split shell with only about a tablespoon of meat, and the shrimp were quite small. Although the other meat dishes and salmon at the table looked appealing, I think I’ll opt for something different next time.
