This used to be my favorite restaurant! It had great service and amazing food. Now the food is awful and the service is even worse. Like so so bad. I am so sad to see this place go so downhill under new ownership.

Loved the food but the service was awful. Felt like the staff was a bunch of teens who had no prior server experience. This is a great representation of the local area. Warm atmosphere, friendly service and quality food. HOWEVER, be aware that this is an old building with a small kitchen. So if you go at peak times, you will wait for your food. What cannot be beat is the patio on a warm afternoon or evening.

All good things must come to an end — and so it is with Bedford 234. Mind you, the food is still high quality (even though the duck is gone). On a recent visit I had the wings and a tuna poke bowl — both of which were excellent. But Mitch sold the joint, Kyle (the longtime manager who knew every face in town) was run off, and with that the local vibe died.
