This used to be my favorite restaurant! It had great service and amazing food. Now the food is awful and the service is even worse. Like so so bad. I am so sad to see this place go so downhill under new ownership.

Loved the food but the service was awful. Felt like the staff was a bunch of teens who had no prior server experience. It took 15 mins before we even got acknowledged after being seated and then the meal itself had more than one error. At least the food was good albeit a tad overpriced. View menu

This is a great representation of the local area. Warm atmosphere, friendly service and quality food. HOWEVER, be aware that this is an old building with a small kitchen. So if you go at peak times, you will wait for your food. What cannot be beat is the patio on a warm afternoon or evening.

All good things must come to an end — and so it is with Bedford 234. Mind you, the food is still high quality (even though the duck is gone). On a recent visit I had the wings and a tuna poke bowl — both of which were excellent. But Mitch sold the joint, Kyle (the longtime manager who knew every face in town) was run off, and with that the local vibe died.
