Original Post — Love the wedding cake mini beignets. The grits were a good consistency, but bland. Not much you can say about the eggs. Overall the food was good but waaaaaaaay overpriced. Reply to Owner — I've actually had grits from other restaurants that didn't need seasoning. Maybe you've never tried Nice Guys or MKM Creations in New Orleans, Fill-Up with Billups in Biloxi or even A Touch of Italy in Slidell (just to name a few). NEVER had to add seasoning. First time customer from out of town. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted and offered a table. There are two tables outside and several inside. I was the only customer at that point-mid morning on Saturday-but 9 others came in soon after. I enjoyed the jazz playing in the background.
