Stopped in and got some beignets to go!! Really good, freshly made…melt-in-your-mouth!! Clean, family friendly. Loved chatting with the owner! Definitely worth a stop!

Was traveling through Louisiana and b7mped into this place it was delicious. Mom and pop shop very friendly. Not ro much on menu but what they have is quality and deliciousness..

Original Post — Love the wedding cake mini beignets. The grits were a good consistency, but bland. Not much you can say about the eggs. Overall the food was good but waaaaaaaay overpriced. Reply to Owner — I've actually had grits from other restaurants that didn't need seasoning. Maybe you've never tried Nice Guys or MKM Creations in New Orleans, Fill-Up with Billups in Biloxi or even A Touch of Italy in Slidell (just to name a few). NEVER had to add seasoning. First time customer from out of town. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted and offered a table. There are two tables outside and several inside. I was the only customer at that point-mid morning on Saturday-but 9 others came in soon after. I enjoyed the jazz playing in the background. We waited about 45 minutes because they are completely understaffed, there was only one employee working. When our food was finally ready, I was informed that the card reader was not working and that I would need cash. Wouldn’t that have been nice to know before waiting! She told me I would have to go to an ATM and by the time I would have gotten back, my food would have been cold. Do not recommend!
