Big Slide Brewery - Piatti

I love big slide, but they need to check their current menu before they get there. sometimes there is only a vegan option. lately brunch has not offered much for vegan tariff at all. her instagram is a great way to keep that know.

came here for a few drinks and dinners on my last trip to the mountain and had the vegan buffalo pizza and it was super tasty! would recommend if they were looking for a place that is not directly in the center of the placid lake.

A few very well thought out vegan options, that vegans and non-vegans can both indulge in. Beautiful atmosphere, nice indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly, for outdoor dining. New seasonally menu coming out soon, can’t wait to try. Visualizza piatti

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Got the buffalo vegan chix pizza and almost all their other pizza’s can be made vegan which we did for the mushroom one. We also orders the vegan carrot cake but I forgot to take a photo before we ate it! The food was a bit heavy and greasy but a nice option for the area that doesn’t have a ton of options.

There are 2 vegan options and 1 vegan dessert available at this restaurant, but it is definitely worth it. We tried the vegan pizza and a pita, both of which were flavorful and delicious. The chefs at this place are incredibly talented. Although we didn't get to try the dessert, based on our experience with the main courses, I am sure it would have been amazing!

The buffalo chicken pizza was . They didn't have a ton of vegan options, but what they had was great, and it was clearly marked on the menu. The waitress we had is vegetarian, so she was very understanding, and told us that while there are no vegan desserts yet, there will be a vegan carrot cake coming soon. Mostly a carnist restaurant, but at least had some great vegan options. The buffalo chicken pizza was shockingly good. A non-vegan friend who got it said she thought it was still one of the best pizzas she ever had. Definitely recommend that if you go. Also, contrary to the old emails Barnivore has from Big Slide, it looks like all their beers (except one, Giant DIPA are now vegan!

Big Slide is a favorite of ours when we come into Lake Placid, especially on IRONMAN weekend since it's right on the bike/run courses. I love that they have clearly-labeled vegan and vegetarian options. This makes it a great place to go with groups, since there's something for everyone. The Vegan Buffalo Chicken Pizza FAR exceeded my expectations and was SO delicious. I ordered it twice over IRONMAN weekend...it was that good.

I was not expecting such a delicious torte from a restaurant in this area, where vegan options are limited. This is the perfect spot to visit after a hike or if you have a long journey back. They have several interesting beers on tap that I will definitely try next time. The vegan pizza on the menu was fantastic, and the pickled shiitake appetizer was also delicious. I wish there were more vegan options, but regardless, this will now be a regular dining spot for us. Visualizza piatti
