It's difficult to find vegan options in Lake Placid. We came across a restaurant that had promising options and attempted to dine there on multiple occasions. However, we were unable to secure a reservation each night of our stay as they were consistently fully booked. Make sure to plan well in advance if you want to eat here.

Several great vegan (and gluten free) options. The lentil soup (Mulligatawny soup) is amazing! The Winter Goddess salad can be made vegan and is really good too. not really, there are definitiw delicious vegan suppe here! the mulligatawny suppe is vegan, hearty and ingenious eating her heart from scratch! the menu is very simple with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and the personal is sensitive and knowledgeable. the chef is the owner and there are often vegan specialties so ask! we also had the sweet tempeh udon noodles (vegan) and the solstice salad (vegan,) which are both excellent. they have added some more vegan options since the last visit and we cannot wait to try them! Finally they have excellent mock-tails for those who are alcohol-free.
