"I rarely eat at normal dining hours, but this day it was about 12:30pm when I got to the restaurant. I could see they were quite busy, which is, of course, a positive thing. The hostess came up to me and asked 'how many ' and I told her just myself. All tables are full right now, but some will open up soon, she said. I nodded and moved back toward the door out of the way. While my wait was only about 6 or 7 minutes, there were 3 other sets of customers that entered and queued up at the wait here to be seated sign. When a couple left and the table was cleared the hostess came right to me and led me to the table. I was sure she would have taken the person at the head of the queue. This was a good thing! I was seated and about 5 minutes later my order was taken. I ordered the Julie Club sandwich. Within 10 minutes I was eating a most delicious club sandwich: whole wheat bread, bacon, tomato, ham, mayo....just perfect. All personnel that I encountered were pleasant and friendly. I dinged one star on the atmosphere because the patrons were quite animated, having a good time. Me, I like it quiet. But, no big deal though. I highly recommend and I 'll be back next time I 'm in Kingsport!"

"This place found on Uber Eats and it definitely has not disappointed! Had the Cowboy Potato, Pimento and Tomato Sand, which (so that can never go wrong) and the Siracha Bourbon WINGS!!! The food was hot and delish on arrival and I said WINGS?! Boy, oh boy, they were amazing! With sauce with the perfect amount of heat and sweet! I've read the reviews about the good service in the house and I'm sorry I had to do without it, but glad I ordered while I wait to be loaded at the sender! If you have the opportunity to come by or order, I highly recommend this place!"

"Unfortunately our experience at Chop House this past week was not great, which isn't typical. The service was all over the place and multiple mistakes were made. The server started out with forgetting to bring a drink to one of us and he didn't get it until we were eating the meal (he did have a water to drink while he waited). My husband and I usually order a large rice we and split it, adding on a couple of sides, otherwise we don't finish the meal and some is wasted. The order was a ribeye medium, salad with ranch, baked potato and mushrooms and an extra plate. We received a half salad (she rang it up to be split) with French dressing instead of ranch and a whole salad with French dressing. The dressing dumped into the salad so she said she would bring us another but then left the half salad anyway. She sent another whole salad but with no dressing this time. I ate the half and my husband asked for dressing and went ahead and ate the whole since they couldn't serve it to anyone now. The steak came, no extra plate. The steak was not done enough but it was okay. The server took so long to come by that we ha already eaten half of it on a shared plate. She did offer to bring a plate but what was the point then? Lots of little things went wrong and no, we didn't complain while there, maybe we should have. It was a 20 anniversary dinner with friends (which the restaurant was aware of) so it was disappointing. As I said before, this isn't typical so we will of course go back, it is my husband's favorite restaurant."

"I have always enjoyed Chef's since I relocated to Tennessee, often using them for school pizza parties and lunches with friends. I've heard they are now under new ownership. However, today was not a pleasant experience. The new owner was quite rude and unprofessional, even though the mistake was clearly theirs. It was a minor issue, not a big deal at all, and there was no need for her to respond so aggressively and unkindly. Thankfully, there are plenty of small, locally-owned pizza restaurants that I can recommend to friends, colleagues, and even strangers online. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Chef's. Dining out has become a luxury in this tough economy, and I will choose to spend my money where it is appreciated from now on."
