"On a rainy afternoon on July 2nd, we stopped to have lunch and pick up the wine of the month. As Wine Club members who live where there isn’t a Winery/Restaurant close by, we stop as much as we can when visiting Chicago. No matter what we eat, the Coopers Hawk restaurants have the best food, and it’s always hard to choose! Our thanks to Kristen our server, and the Restaurant Manager, who heard we come a long way to eat here, for making our recent visit so memorable, with a feel of “home”. Hilton Head/Bluffton, Charleston SC or Savannah GA area would be perfect for a Coopers Hawk Restaurant! Kid-friendliness: Boosters and high chairs, my grandchildren love eating here. "Best Dim Sum (Cantonese Small Plates) and Hong Kong Style cuisine place in the NW suburban area. Giving it 4 stars, because I've had better foods in Chinatown, and a few things they can improve on. But it's fair to say this is a great place to bring your family and friends for authentic delicious Chinese food. Here are my Dim Sum Ordering Tips for you.. The Dim Sum Classics: Crepe, Turnip Cake, Rib with black bean sauce, Chicken Feet, Sticky Rice in lotus leaf, Shrimp Dumpling, Siu Mai, I've had enough classics in my life, so I tend to order something different. My Favorites Dim Sums: Short Rib with honey sauce (not the best I've had, but pretty good). Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf (although my favorite, but will avoid in this location because they have a freezer smell. Probably not too many people order it), Egg Yolk Bun (Minghin was the first restaurant to introduce this to Chicago about 10 years ago), Rib with black bean sauce, Turnip Cake, Bean Curd Skin with Pork and Shrimp, Shrimp Dumpling with Green Chives. Deep Fried Taro Puff (too bland in this location) I would also suggest avoiding the Fish Congee has no flavor, and veggies were raw. Also, their soy sauce for the crepe is very light, lacking flavor."

"I really needed this! Having just moved to the area, I've been searching for a great spot for burgers and Philly sandwiches. I just tried the Blue Cheese burger, cooked medium, and it was so delicious that I wanted a second one after the very first bite! The menu is extensive, so I can’t comment on many items yet, but if the burger was this good, I can only imagine how fantastic the cheesesteaks must be. The place was clean and inviting, with typical pricing. There are several TVs and plenty of seating, along with good parking. I found the Google directions from Arlington Heights Road to be a bit confusing, but you can actually access it through a parking lot with a traffic light located just east on Golf Road. I will definitely be returning!"

"If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would! My husband is a vegetarian, and I have strict medical instructions to reduce my sugar and simple starch intake. Bistro Chen offers a fantastic variety of tofu dishes, and they even provide brown rice upon request for their sushi items. Their Dim Sum is the best in the suburbs! We especially love their Chinese broccoli, which can be steamed or stir-fried based on your preference. It is always incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The stir-fried baby bok choy is also highly recommended. If you're in the know, make sure to try the Ong Choy when it’s available. This water hyacinth might sound exotic, but there’s no need to be intimidated. Its flavor is a delightful blend between kale and spinach, and it's simply stir-fried with a hint of garlic for the perfect taste. Another must-try vegetable is the Sichuan green beans. The chef skillfully incorporates Sichuan peppercorns along with red chilies, garlic, and other ingredients, creating a depth of flavor that enhances the crisp-tender string beans. We’ve become so addicted to them that we order this dish every time we visit. Additionally, their sushi is incredibly fresh, generously portioned, and perfectly balanced between rice and fish. Their sushi rolls are creative, fun, and above all, DELICIOUS! The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, always happy to answer any questions we have about the availability of certain dishes. We can’t wait to return!"

"We haven’t been to this restaurant in quite awhile as our last visit it was disappointing. I have to say that the food today was just amazing! Everything we had we absolutely delicious! The Polish cabbage rolls were outstanding with a incredible mushroom sauce!!! The Chef now is fantastic and the staff was more than willing to spend time explaining anything we asked. Highly recommend this restaurant!"
