I absolutely love the Brickhouse! The food is consistently delicious, creative, and cooked to perfection. The staff is wonderful, and I especially enjoy the upstairs bar area for a dinner for two. The bartenders are friendly and enjoyable to talk to. Corey and the team always deliver an outstanding experience!

Everything was flawless. The place was clean, lively, and the food was absolutely delightful. For our dining experience, we enjoyed dinner, with each person spending over $100. This place is amazing. Tremendous food and drinks (we ordered seconds of the polenta, it was that delicious), great atmosphere and, most importantly, friendly, attentive service, which we were particularly grateful for after a few other experiences in a town that runs on a tourist economy but seems to hate outsiders. If I ever go back to Ouray, it will be because of this experience.

Ouray, Colorado, certainly impressed us with both its stunning views and excellent food. This restaurant was a real treat! We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire on such a lovely evening. The Brussels sprouts were fantastic, and my wife really enjoyed her dessert. My only concern is that it can be a bit pricey, but the quality of the food and the views made it worth it for us. The service was solid as well, so if you’re in the area, this is a great spot for dinner!

I am completely in love with this restaurant! I truly believe it’s one of the best dining spots in all of Colorado. The food is incredible, and I’m consistently impressed every time I visit. I make it a priority to stop by whenever I'm in the area. Plus, let’s not forget that Ouray is the cutest little mountain town there is! I find myself craving the polenta every day until I can have it again—don't miss out on trying it! The shrimp and corn fritters were delightful and perfectly crispy. The braised short rib was juicy and tender, with creamy potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. I can’t wait to return to Brickhouse! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water! Haha!

I dined here on 10/16. My wife and I were excited to try seeing as most of the reviews were positive. We specifically scheduled our reservation during the sunset so we could sit on the patio to watch as it set. When we were seated inside, we asked if it were possible to sit outside instead. The hostess brushed us off rudely and told us there was a staffing issue that night. Bit of a downer but we stayed nonetheless. It took about 10 minutes before we were offered water at which time we ordered and waited about the same time for the food. The food was delicious. Food and drink were fantastic but unfortunately it kind of ends there. I was so thankful that as a party of two we were able to be seated without a reservation. I also understand that everybody is short staffed, but again at this caliber of a restaurant your staff should want to make good tips right? The bartender was “sick” as he said and thus didn’t talk much. In fact he probably said two words, so okay. If you’re sick please don’t come to work and serve paying customers.
