"We wanted to try Detroit-style pizza and hear that Buddys was the best. We were not disappointed! Buddy's square pizza was great! The crust was perfectly cooked with the right amount of cheese and toppings. The tomato sauce at the top was absolutely delicious with just a hint of spices. Great service. The building itself was a little dated, but we loved its character. All in all, it lived up to the numerous awards on the walls."

We wanted to try Detroit-style pizza and hear that Buddys was the best. We were not disappointed! Buddy's square pizza was great! The crust was perfectly cooked with the right amount of cheese and toppings. The tomato sauce at the top was absolutely delicious with just a hint of spices. Great service. The building itself was a little dated, but we loved its character. All in all, it lived up to the numerous awards on the walls.

"The food at this restaurant is delicious and flavorful. I especially enjoy their homemade bread. I went back for more in the same week because it was so good. It's a great option for healthy and fresh dining. The only suggestion I have is to add another vegetable to the kabob besides carrots, as they don't grill well. Despite this, the food is excellent and the restaurant is clean with beautiful decor. I recommend giving it a try next time. I would have given it 5 stars if the staff member hadn't made me wait while he took a phone call, leaving me standing there for almost 10 minutes while my food was already bagged and ready for pickup. A little more friendliness would have been appreciated."

"At this point, everyone in the food industry needs some type of special training in food allergies. It wasn’t simple enough to say the person eating the cucumber rolls has an allergy to avocado and shell fish, please prepare and package this separate. I ASSumed a sushi place in this area would be risky! But something as simple as accommodating food allergies shouldn’t matter regardless of any location. This is barely Chinese and could never be considered an “authentic” Japanese restaurant. It’s simply an insult to the Japanese culture. The people that actually got to eat their meals, were sad. No tofu. No seaweed. Dry rice. Salty and dry beef “teriyaki”. Just sad. We are all just sad that we are all going to bed hungry. So sad… and hungry. My 4 year old niece passed on everything too."

"I love this place. I grew up on this food here. I have been living in Ohio for a while now and crave this food all of the time. We were in town and sad to see that it was carry out only since we didn't really have a place to go with it. But they recognized me from back in the day and allowed us to sit there to eat with our take out. It was the Sweetest thing!! And the food might even be better than what I remembered! I got my daughters to try it and have had them change their minds about it. They loved it! I am so glad a gem like this has been able to keep going after all of these years and challenges."

"The interior is very small. There is a fine line between cozy and cramped. Especially with a large party taking up several tables. As is common right now, they are understaffed. There was one server on the floor and one bartender. The bartender was running drinks and taking orders for drink refills as well. It was less than ideal as far as service is concerned. Both the server and the bartender were skilled and gracious. They were just being overworked. The food was quite good. I got the seared salmon with broccoli and the tomato cucumber salad. Every bite was delicious. It was very well prepared and extremely fresh. I selected this restaurant as a recommendation from Open Table. I needed a last minute reservation for a birthday. There wasn’t much open in the area for the time that I needed so, I just took the recommendation. I did not take the time to really study the menu. I was surprised to discover that a large portion of the menu is sandwiches. I’d go back for a casual night out. Probably not for a celebration."
