"The menu is quite extensive, offering a range of pub favorites, salads, sandwiches, and various entrees, with daily specials that change. They boast a substantial cocktail and beer selection, highlighting a wide variety of local brews. I particularly love their loaded Bloody Mary, topped with a pickle, olives, bacon, and more—it's fantastic. In terms of food quality, I’ve been consistently impressed. I’ve ordered the nachos (a must-try if you love nachos), the BBQ salad, and buffalo chicken dip—all have been excellent. While Foggy Goggle does get busy, the staff has always been attentive and friendly, even during peak times. However, if you’re looking for a quick meal, you might want to reconsider. So why not a five-star rating? It can get a bit pricey, with local beers around $12 and food items typically starting at $16. Nonetheless, I plan to keep returning to Foggy Goggle for all my après-ski needs!"

"Sliders is clearly impacted by the construction going on at the Jordan Grand Hotel. You can't get to the restaurant from inside the property; and the restaurant restrooms are outside. Nice restrooms, but outside. The food was good, albeit a little more expensive than I expected considering the hotel conditions. I had a burger which came with nothing on the side. I added fries, which cost $8. I guess for $8 I thought they might come sprinkled with gold dust. The wine list is decent; the only Cabernet on the list was out of stock (Honig), but they had an alternate that I didnt' care for. I ordered a Barbera, which they said had been opened the day prior. It tasted older than that. I did order a second glass, and at my request, they opened a fresh bottle for me. Our server did a nice job; it can't be easy working on a Monday night when the hotel is so torn up. All in...it's been a while since I was at Sliders; I think I'll wait out the construction until I try again."

"Sara and her team made our time at Sunday River fantastic .. very hospitable even despite working under Covid conditions. Menu is innovative and food is tasty .. try the spicy Waygu beef salad it is spicy you spicy lover and I tried the Oxtail beef on toast which I have to admit exceeded my expectations! Great cocktails, beers on tap, wine you name it .. try to snag a table outside in the sun"

"Last night was a complete disaster. Wife and I sat at the bar, no other patrons in restaurant. Ordered a Manhattan and the bartender didn't know how to make it. I told him the ingredients and all he could find was whiskey, none of the extras. Wife ordered salad, me chowder. About 1/2 hour later the chowder arrived and wife was told they had to send out to get lettuce. Chowder was ok but send out for lettuce??? I looked at the bar stock and finally found the vermuth and bitters. More than another hour passed and still no food. At this time we told staff cancel order, we were leaving. They tried to get us to stay and said food is just being plated. We left. 1 hour and 45 minutes to wait no way. Too bad but can you imagine what will happen when it gets busier. It's early in the ski season, but they shouldn't have opened until ready. Will we return- probably not. Full disclosure, the hostess wouldn't let us pay so we left a decent tip anyway."

"Once loyal fans of the mountain room turned NEVER again. Terrible terrible terrible!!! As bad as customer service gets. We had a reservation and the host placed us in the bar area not letting us know that we had no server and had to walk up to the bar to order. After waiting for 20 minutes, I walked up to the host to ask if we had a server. She watched me standing there, while she went on to wipe down the same table TWO times while the restaurant was dead, again watching me stand at the host station. She ended up moving us to a table where we had a waitress. When we said we wanted to order food the waitress looked stressed because the kitchen was closing. Would have been nice to know when the kitchen closed, as we wasted a half hour just sitting there while not one staff member came up to us. It gets better...... The waitress tells her manager that she had to put a food order in as the kitchen was closing and the manager obnoxiously rolled her eyes right in front of us. The waitress told us we had another hour until they stoped serving drinks, so we ordered one more round. A few minutes after receiving our drinks the bartended clapped her hands and yelled out to the entire restaurant time to finish up people we have a gondola to catch . Yikes. You 're not fooling us theyre not going to leave you stranded up here. We get the picture you were ready to be done with your shift. We live in the Portland area and frequent the Grill room on a regular weekly basis, and the mountain room on a regular basis when skiing every weekend. Needless to say we will no longer be stopping at any of the room establishments. Best of luck if you do!!"
