This is such a great place! The staff is so friendly and wholesome! They take such great care of their customers! The food is delicious and very plentiful! I feel so welcome and appreciated!

Good food. Great service. Chicken in my pollo Fundido was bland. Salsa was bland. Taco my friend had with enchilada was great. Also enjoyed the apple chimi for dessert and it was very flavorful and amazing.

A Phoenix staple for many yrs, the food is served to consider the pallet of many ethnicities.The attention to customers has gotten much better, yet they could make a hotter salsa, not just milder and more mild.A great bar atmosphere and enjoyed how the employees fed off each other to help the customers. Our waiter was fantastic! He overheard me telling our son to choose the appetizer for his birthday. Our son is in his 50s, and we were so delighted when our waiter, along with two other staff members, brought out a dessert with a candle and sang to him. It was such a wonderful surprise. The server was excellent, very attentive to our table. When my drink was empty, he promptly picked it up and brought me another (I forgot his name). I would give him four stars, as the quality of the food seems to vary depending on the time of day. The meal I had today was decent, but not spectacular. I would still return, but hope that all chefs are consistently meeting the standard. Overall, it is a good place.

I have always enjoyed going to Carlos O'Briens. Since they are no longer located at 12th Street and North, we decided to try out this new spot. They require masks, have tables socially distanced appropriately, and keep their public bathrooms open. Masks must be worn in the bathroom and at the table. We used to go to the one on 12th St a lot and we were sad when it shut down. We decided to try this one and not disappointed at all. They were just as amazing, friendly, and yummy as the old location. Glad to see they are consistent at other locations. My boyfriend always orders a #5 and just devours it. I normally order a Chimichanga (sadly they don't have a la cart for it on the menu) without rice and beans. When I'm in the mood to spend $14 on just a Chimi. When I'm not I'll order their Papa Fajita which is fantastic, and today (11-20-2020) i gave their Favorite Fajita Quesadilla a try which did not disappoint and came with no rice and beans (for those curious i gave a rare stomach issue...

It 's been awhile since we 've been to a Carlos O 'Brien 's. We used to go to the one on northern but it was torn down years ago. So we decided to see if this one was any goodWe were seated immediately. Our server was pretty good. He was very attentive and helpful. I knew things weren 't going to be good when I tasted the salsa. Both the mild and hot were horrible. That 's usually an indication on how good the food will be. Ordered the steak fajitas and a cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla was greasy but decent. Would have been better if there was good salsa. The steak was tasteless. The rice was tasteless. I was beginning to think I had Covid. Lol. But then I could taste the guacamole which...

I didn't find what I wanted on the menu, but that was no issue! I ordered a burrito filled with machaca, potatoes, beans, and green sauce, all served with a delightful Christmas sauce (red and green—I enjoy both!). The portions are enormous; I was able to get four meals from just one burrito. My friend chose the pollo fundido, served enchilada style, and managed to eat half of this massive dish before admitting defeat and asking for a to-go box. The machaca wasn’t very spicy, but it was tasty. However, the layering in the burrito could have been improved; I would have liked to get a bit of everything in each bite, as the machaca was on one side and the potatoes on the other.
