"We were very busy at work that week due to Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, so we were ordering lunch via DoorDash also on Tuesday (12/1/20 . One of the co workers chose this location. I 'd keep it as 3 stars, but actually my rating is closer to 2.5 stars... The selection was scarce. The menu just had 5 different types of curry and a lemongrass pork dish (with roasted cauliflower instead of rice yuck! , and spring rolls. You could not even choose different proteins for a given flavor of curry. DoorDash categorized this location as Indian probably because of it offered curry, but the classification is inappropriate. Given the menu and available items, I 'd guess the best categorization is Asian fusion, as Yelp suggests but mainly Thai (as it offered red, green, and yellow curries and Vietnamese (spring rolls . It seemed like it only offered delivery. I chose the Yellow Chicken Curry, because the only other viable option for me was presumably Red Curry Steak, despite the protein being garlic soy steak. I couldn 't imagine (garlic soy marinated beef inside curry! The Yellow Chicken Curry tasted OK I actually liked the potatoes in there (which is a staple in Japanese curry, but not so in curries from other countries , but it actually was quite spicy for a yellow curry. As far as Thai curries go, yellow curries are supposed to be the mildest of the curries (the order goes from green, red then yellow , so I was surprised. It also came with lime and chopped peanuts . I don 't usually order a yellow curry from a Thai place (because it is mild , so I don 't know, but having all these toppings along with fried shallot already on it seemed a bit overkill. I squeezed lime on a section and tried it but decided no additional toppings worked best for me. It also did not contain much chicken."

We enjoyed the Workout box and the Ox box. The food is good quality and has good flavoring. The service was a bit slow considering that there were 7 people behind the counter and only 2 sets of orders (2 boxes each).

"Thai Curry is a spin-off of Asian Box offering similar great quality, garnishes, portions, and packaging but with Thai red, yellow, and green style curries. The Thai spicy beef curry I tried was deliciously hot. There didn't seem to be any options for choosing the spice level when ordering, so this place is definitely not for those who can't handle heat."

Pick a protein, pick a base, and select toppings. Great protein options- Chicken, Beef, Pork, Tofu and more. White/Brown Rice, Asian Salad and 7 or so topping choices. Flavors are Asian and very yummy- Portions are generous and the fact that they offer Brown Rice or Asian Veggies as the base are true winners for me. I love the Chicken and the Tofu as protein choices and my kids love the Beef and Pork. They also have a few sides to add on to your meal. Visualizza piatti

I had a great experience at this restaurant during their happy hour deal where you get a personal box with your choice of meat, shrimp, or tofu, rice or noodles, fresh stir fry vegetables, crunchy fried onions, and a sauce, all for $12. You also have the option to add a 175ml glass of wine or a beer for an extra $2. Ordering is done at the counter and there is no need to tip. This restaurant was a welcomed change from the overpriced touristy spots. The only downside was that the air conditioning was set too high for a chilly February evening in San Francisco (12 degrees Celsius outside), so we had to keep our coats on.

Thought I would try something new today. Being an extremely picky eater it is hard to find something that I like that's different. I pretty much live by a Midwestern diet but have been trying to adventure out. This is a prime example of why I do not. Just wasted about 36.00. I ordered a chicken build your own box and a beef, one for dinner one for lunch. One with steamed veggies one with wok. I also ordered extra meat on both since I am a meat eater. The chicken box was gross. I believe the chicken is dark meat which I do not eat. That's on me, guess I should have checked before I ordered. Since I usually do not order these kind of things I didn't think about asking. Just assumed it would be...

"Curry Hyuga had long been on my culinary radar, and today, I finally had the chance to experience it. The occasion arose as I needed to pick up my partner at SFO later, and given the mere 10-minute drive from the restaurant to the airport, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to satiate my appetite and make the most of my time, rather than aimlessly circling around the airport. Conveniently, there are numerous public parking lots scattered throughout the town. The restaurant opens its doors at 11:30 am, and I arrived promptly at 11:25 am, only to find a queue already forming outside, as depicted in the photo. The attentive server, Yuki promptly greeted each customer and kept my water glasses filled, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.Opting for their Signature Curry Rice Entree, which features their caramelized onion curry accompanied by shredded cabbage, creamy potato salad, and Fukujin pickles, I decided to elevate my meal by adding Chicken Cutlet Katsu Curry with Chicken Karaage as additional toppings. To my amazement, my order was delivered to my table in a mere 3 minutes, which left me thoroughly impressed. Curry Hyuga's standout feature is their incredibly tender meat, perfectly complemented by their mouthwatering curry—a true masterpiece with Kanazawa-style sweetness and richness that sets it apart. To further customize your dish, they offer a selection of five different spices: Ichimi Togarashi, Jalapeno Pepper, Pequin Pepper, Wiri Wiri Pepper, and Orange Habanero. I had the pleasure of sampling all of them, and personally, I found the Wiri Wiri Pepper and Orange Habanero powder to be standout choices. Their spiciness elevated the curry to a whole new level, complemented by the unique fragrance of the peppers."

"I made reservations here for Valentine's day and everything was perfect! Their service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and with each dish it was cool how they talked about the food and explained some of the tastes and flavors just before we began eating. And they get huge props for accommodating my dietary restrictions and modifying almost every item on their menu to something I could eat! (5/5) Osetra caviar I normally hate caviar, but this one was really good! It's cured so it's a bit salty (4/5) Sauteed baby abalone Pretty good, although it doesn't quite compare to ones I've had in the past. That said, one doesn't eat abalone often, so I think the bar for abalone is pretty high (5/5) Warm lobster salad Wow! The lobster was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Also I thought the charred avocado was interesting; they blowtorch the avocado to give it a slightly tougher texture on the outside, mirroring the lobster (4/5) Braised Lamb Ragu The lamb was exploding with spices and flavor, although it was a tad dry inside. The pappardelle was perfectly al dente (4/5) Black Cherry Sorbet Pretty good, the puffed black rice was a bit hard (one of the pieces was like a rock) but the sorbet was flavorful without being too strong (5/5) Hokkaido A5 Wagyu This was the star of the show. Have you ever had steak that melts in your mouth like butter?? The only problem with this dish is that there were only 2 slices of steak! I wish there were 3! (5/5) Spicy Kiss Passion Fruit Juice They made a modification and gave me a small shot of spicy, fizzy passion fruit juice. The chili had a lot of heat but actually went well with the sourness and fizz of the juice. I would never have though of making passion fruit spicy, but it was pretty tasty (4/5) Cubed fruit stack I don't know what to call this since they also did an entirely separate fruit dessert for me, but it was essentially a Rubik's cube made of watermelon, kiwi, and strawberry, topped with a dark chocolate covered strawberry. (5/5) House made meringue I also don't normally like meringue, but this was like candy and tasted amazing! Thanks Viognier for a wonderful evening and accommodating my dietary needs, everything was solid!"
