"We have had several good experiences here. The food was only fair. Went tonight and the crab dip was way over cooked and came out with a bunch of salt teens instead of bread. Had to ask for bread and tasted some chunks of wonder beard for us. The burger was burnt to a crisp. Returned it and instead of making a new one they apparently took it off the bill while I waited for a new burger. When asked she didn't know I wanted a burger to eat. Well I went home hungry as I didn't want the cook to do what they will do when a customer is not happy at closing time. Will not go back. There is a reason the locals won't go here."

While there is a limited selection of options my softshell crab sandwich was the best I have had. The other people in my party food was more average. Good location

What a fantastic location! Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed when we visited. I assume they may close for the winter. I look forward to trying again the next time we're in the area!

The place was quite dirty (crusty juicers, dirty blenders with flies... and it was pretty slow but I swear it was the best half and half soup I have ever had. The crab dip was just so-so, didnt taste like much and was very thick

I checked out the menu online. Then when I got there it was a completely different menu and completely different prices. I think that would be called false advertisement. But on a good note the food was awesome. Parking: Parking lot is very small. Visualizza piatti

We visited during the week at the beginning of the off-season, so there were very few customers. Several items on the menu were unavailable. However, the crab soup and flounder were both delicious! Our server, who also took care of the bar, did an excellent job!

We visited Knapps Narrows by boat for the weekend of 9/9 and dined at Characters. The food was delicious- I had Rockfish Tacos and they were excellent. The restaurant was heavily populated by locals, who were so very warm and welcoming to us city folk and the staff made our dining and dancing experience among our best memories of the season. The band was Hold My Beer, a great party band for dancing. We look forward to returning regularly- this place is awesome. Kid-friendliness: Kids seem to love it too!
