Desert Bistro - Piatti

This restaurant's menu changes fairly frequently and usually has specials on. Bacon wrapped dates (or figs) seem to be a constant though and they're delicious. They do fish dishes particularly well. It's a block from main street but easy to get to.

This is a wonderful restaurant. Staff is personable and food was amazing, husband had pork tenderloin and I had fish special. We shared the bacon wrapped dates for an app. The only sad part of our meal is that we had no room for dessert. We had heard it is especially good, if the bread before dinner is any indication then yes, we missed out!

First of all I would like to acknowledge our waitress, Kenzie. She was absolutely amazing and has the best customer service skills. If I could give her a 10 star review, I would. Every restaurant needs a Kenzie! The homemade bread and trio dipping sauces were delish. The service and food at Desert Bistro was impeccable! They were nervous about serving someone with celiac since their kitchen is so small there is a risk of cross contamination. Our server Derek was excellent in asking the chef questions and letting me knowwhat I could have. The food was the best I?ve ever eaten. I had the pork tenderloin with Apple chutney. The sauce was so good, Iate all of it and would buy it if they sold it. They made sure I was taken care of, and I didn?t get sick. Desert Bistro isworth the food and cost.

What a great place! This is a cozy little place that instantly feels like home when you arrive. The food was fantastic and made in house which is such a wonderful departure from the norm of reheating distributor products from Sysco or Shamrock. The chef’s touch is evident and the love for the food comes across load and clear. The devils on horseback were a particularly good appetizer, and the pork tenderloin entree was top notch. Bridget was our server, and her friendly and capable service complimented the meal perfectly. We will definitely make this a destination when in Moab in the future.

Dear Desert Bistro, thank you all for a great meal.The fact that they’re located in a desert with relatively smaller array of ingredients to work with than most restaurants, it’s even more impressive how creative and delicious each of their offerings were.Violet blue was one of the tastiest and whimsical cocktails I’ve had in a while and it really represented the rest of the meal. Excellent, attentive service, beautiful place with relaxing music. The food was outstanding, but the chicken sausage appetizer ruined the perfection—the polenta was completely tasteless, and the sauce, which was overpowered by the taste of rosemary, couldn’t save it. The sausage itself was good, but lacking salt, but when you pay $22 and tell the server you’re sharing, you would think they would at least give you two pieces! We had to share one piece the size of a half dollar.The homemade bread which was a free starter was warm, soft, and delicious. I wish I could rate this 6/5. This is one of the best experiences I?ve had with food, and I?ve been to some incredible restaurants around the world. The service was spot on. Eric was a wonderful waiter, and was very attentive . Drinks were neverempty, mess was cleaned up, and he was very friendly. The ambience was excellent. Eric was a wonderful waiter and was very attentive. The drinks were never empty, the mess was cleaned, and he was very friendly. The ambience was excellent. We sat on the back terrace, which was shaded and had side umbrellas, as well as heating when it was cold. The food was definitely on site. The agnolotti pasta was great.
