"I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this restaurant was part of the inn. The decor was lovely, and the staff was very friendly. However, I was a bit disappointed with the menu selections, especially considering it’s advertised as an Italian bistro. For example, there was no veal or traditional Italian dishes available, which made the menu feel limited to me. That said, the food was quite good. Overall, it's a nice place to stop by if you're in the area."

Lovely place to dine with friends and family while enjoying each other's company. The appetizers are delicious and priced right. The entrees are good portions you won't leave hungry or dissatisfied! Good for a business or close ties lunch or dinner.

This was our first visit, and we were celebrating three family birthdays. Everyone in our group enjoyed the restaurant's ambiance, the service, and the food. Each of us tried something different from the menu, and there were fantastic lunch options available. We will definitely be returning. It’s a real gem!

First timers on a Sunday late afternoon. Restaurant was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Food was good basic fare: Pasta Bolognese was good, shrimp were unfortunately overdone, pork chops were very good. Host and waiter were fine. Enjoyed a nice bottle of wine with dinner. A relaxed and pleasant experience for all.

"Appears short staffed, like many places these days unfortunately. The supposed home made margaritas were a bowl of sugar and served in a beer glass. Come on....a supposed authentic ethnic restaurant should have at least right drinking glasses. Salsa and chip appetizer very Taco Bell-like. Pretty good fish tacos and ok enchiladas. Nothing really memorable so will explore other Mexican restaurants"

"This place was amazing! The service was impeccable. I ordered a Greek salad with chick peas and grilled chicken. The waiter said they don't have the chick peas. He went back and checked and made a custom salad for me just the way I like it and sent me home with tzikiki sauce and pita and didn't charge for it, wonderful! The atmosphere was crowded but good and adequately well kept."

"When my wife and I want to go out for dinner we don’t go through the ritual of where to go anymore. It’s understood that we are going to the North Tavern in Wading River! Now I have written reviews before about the North Tavern and the owners Brian and Drew along with their wives but I can’t resist letting everyone know about what a dining experience should be like. Everything is wonderful from the time you walk in until the time you leave. You are almost always greeted by a family member who begins your experience. The food is outstanding. Drew is always changing up the menu with different culinary delights. Of course we have our favorites but can’t resist trying new menu items or some of the daily specials! The food never fails to impress us! I want to tell you about a few of them but I don’t know which ones to recommend because they are all so good! There are some old fashion comfort dishes and always great new delights. I always tell myself to keep the review short so everyone reads it all, but it’s so hard. I can’t not mention the service though. Brian and his staff treats you like family. The service is just outstanding. They are very attentive and can’t do enough to make your dining a pleasure. This is displayed by just watching Brain in the dining area. It seems like all of his patrons are personal friends and he makes you feel that way. I can end without mentioning his cocktails. He always is coming up with new and wonderful drinks that shouldn’t be missed. He also does parties and special events which are not the same old thing but and event like it was dinner for two. So if you want an enjoyable evening out to dinner go to the North Tavern and say hello to Brian and Denise, Drew and Carol.Rob G"

"we are so happy that we have chosen la plage as our catererer for our high season, 16th juni 2022. wayne, meredith and the whole staff have made a wonderful job! eating was phenomenal! we were also able to create our own menu elements with waynes to the food we love and want to integrate in our special day. the attention to every detail really distracted me at the high time. I was able to enjoy and relax my guests, knowing that was in the best hands! Many thanks for providing a great memory and everyone is still on the run over eating! the presentation was perfect and the service exceptional. many thanks for their help throughout the process! I would recommend la plage as a supporter for their high time."

"the reservation for six and the waiting staff was very friendly and friendly. baked Calamari care and salads were very good. the food came slowly and was warm, which was really disappointing. shrimp fra diavolo was used because of the temperature and the amount of wobbles in the sauce. Since it was warm, the additional meeres fruit was rubbery. there were also 4 out of 7 unopened mushles that should be removed before serving. mustel bowl was similar to the temperature. not sure whether our table was simply forgotten or whether it is a clinke in the kitchen."
