"They used to have a chicken salad sandwich that I absolutely loved and could have eaten every day. Then one day, they added dill weed to it, which completely ruined it for me. I love dill, but I don't believe it belongs in chicken salad. I’m curious as to why they changed the recipe after so many years. Their subs can be hit or miss; sometimes they’re made perfectly, and other times, they’re barely baked, leaving the cheese hardly melted. The sub bread also varies in thickness. Ordering food from the Doster Store sometimes feels like a game of roulette—you might hit the jackpot or be completely let down. That said, they do have an impressive beer selection, and they now serve Mooville Ice Cream (formerly Hudsonville). If you’re in the mood for a shake or soft serve, they offer that as well. They also serve breakfast, which I find pretty good. I’ve tried the breakfast sandwiches and enjoyed them, while the biscuits and gravy are just okay, leaning more towards white gravy. I appreciate the variety of items available in their store. So if you’re heading to the lake, taking a country drive, or, like me, just heading home, you can pick up buns, beer, wine, chips, frozen meats and vegetables, canned goods, and much more. I really enjoy the old-fashioned country store vibe, complete with creaky wood floors. Here’s hoping this review encourages them to train their staff for more consistency in the kitchen!"

Doster serves the best pizza in the Kalamazoo area. There’s no debate about it. I’m not sure what they put in their crust, but it’s incredible. We’ve been ordering from the Doster Store for 25 years, and they consistently exceed our expectations. Treat yourself and order from Doster!

I'm disappointed to see that they prioritize following what I believe to be a misguided mask mandate over effectively managing their business. I've ordered pizza for delivery several times, and it's consistently delicious. My nephew still talks about how fantastic the large sausage and mushroom pizza we got was. The delivery staff are always friendly, too. We used to visit the store when we were at Pine Lake, and I have wonderful memories connected to this place! They also offer ice cream, which is amazing.

Doster has broke my heart!!!! I have always loved the subs. Perfect amount of meat layer in a wave and not a stack within the best sub bun. Not today! A junk bun! Flat and no flavors. So so so sad. I hope this was only an have too because they were out which in over 30 years have never experienced) and this will not happen again. I will give it one more try before I voice opinion to all.
