"Excellent food and service, with a menu that changes based on the freshest ingredients available in season. The price point is high but it 's worth it. I 'm a Charlotte resident who drives up to the Sandhills to visit family, and this restaurant competes with any of the farm to table style restaurants in the big city. We went for the whole gambit of appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Portion sizes are generous, but not overwhelming. I would order anything that is based around what 's in season. Highlights in the appetizers were a peach and fig burrata, crab hush puppies, and the tuna tartar. Entree wise they have a wide variety of seafood and meat preps, but the highlights for us were the lamb wellington and halibut special, which honestly we could have shared between the four of us. Dessert wise we had a seasonal peach cake with ice cream, and a sticky toffee bun also with ice cream. Both were light and delicious to finish off the meal. Our service from Josh our server was excellent and efficient. Unprompted he immediately assisted getting my 90 year old grandma into her seat, and then went straight into getting our drinks and telling us the specials. All the food came out fresh and well timed, and Josh consistently checked on us without being overbearing. I would say for new comers that you could make an entire meal for the table just sharing appetizers and one or two entrees, and you all would leave happy."

"Thank-you to all of you at Drum Quill Public House. I got myself from RDU airport to Pinehurst without much trouble on Sunday evening 11/19/17... was trying to make it in time to say goodbye in person one last time to my father. Not carrying a cell phone I found myself completely lost in Pinehurst. I resorted to an old fashioned method. I asked for directions. I found this bustling restaurant and was helped by the compassionate and kind bartender and other staff there and also by 1 customer whom I followed part way to my destination. I did get to my father's bedside in time to say goodbye in person. I returned to Drum Quill on Tuesday, 11/21/17, and had a marvelous burger fries. In saying thank-you I broke down a bit. The kind of place I'd recommend to anyone! Thank-you again for your caring staff."

"We stopped here during their brunch hours. We started off with their deviled eggs. In my opinion they lacked seasoning, but were okay. We ordered the Fried Tomato Cobb Salad and the Chicken Waffles, along with a mimosa and ****** Mary. I did not like the ****** Mary and sent it back. It tasted mostly of tomato juice and had very little seasoning. The mimosa was okay. The Cobb salad was very very good. It's definitely in my top 5 of favorite Cobb salads yet. The chicken waffles were underwhelming and the red velvet waffles were definitely red but not very much like red velvet cake. Service was excellent. We did not have reservations and we were seated quickly. The outdoors dining area was very nice, even on a day with temps in the 90s. We'd stop here again if we find ourselves in the area again."

"Beer options were diverse and good, many breweries tend to focus on a style, but there were different options to suit any taste. Food was good: tried the deep fried pickles and cheese, sample plate was great, pizza was also quite good. The service was great, both at the tables and at the goods zone. Table supports on the big high tops were very cool. There are also a few grain hole sets outside. Table had 4 BBQ sauces on them for use with your meal, the standout to me was Hop Sauce IPA beer mustard!"

"Stopped by in the afternoon of the 18th to check out Villaggio and was immediately impressed with the table setting and dining rooms. Decided to have dinner later that evening. Our dinner was fantastic from start to finish and the service by Alex and her knowledge of the meals made it over the top. Starting with Caprese Salad and Carpaccio Di Manzo which were both perfect, the main causes of Frutti Di Mare and Lasagna Al Forno were excellently prepared and presented. Homemade Tiramisu for dessert, a couple of cocktails and coffee made for a fantastic dining experience. A review mentioned the cost being somewhat high. For the quality of the food, the service, table setting and the surroundings, it was certainly worth the price, and we look forward to our next visit."
