Echo St. Simons - Piatti

I came with my girlfriend I’m Valentine’s Day, and we ordered the filet mignon dinner and instead of fillets they were sirloins. So I ended up paying over $200 for two sirloin steak meals.. i’d like to know why people weren’t notified that you weren’t serving fillet mignon Very dissatisfied with the meal

My partner and I went out for dinner to celebrate our recent engagement. The waitress was excellent, allowing us to savor our Prosecco appetizers before placing our dinner orders. As a surprise, she brought out a cheesecake with "congrats" written on the plate for the happy couple. The entire experience was flawless!

This restaurant is in the beautiful King and Prince Hotel, but the restaurant itself is lacking in ambiance. While it is facing the ocean and has a great view, the lighting is not good (very bright with can lights in some spots; almost dark in other spots). The music speaker had a blown out woofer, which drove me nuts. The service was fine, but the servers seemed stressed. The food was really good. Visualizza piatti

The restaurant started off on a disappointing note as they were out of the crab cake appetizer, but my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp tacos and honey-soy glazed salmon. The cocktails were excellent. Unfortunately, my wife's chocolate cake dessert was dry. Despite this setback, we appreciated the overall meal, the attentive service, and the staff's effort to seat us away from a loud group.

We dined at ECHO for Valentines Day. A prix fixe dinner for two was offered at $147.00. We had garden salads, a filet mignon with roast vegetables and broiled chicken on angel hair pasta. Dessert was chosen from a buffet-style table. The food was excellent, well-seasoned and tasty. Service was routine and satisfactory. Our table was near large windows with a lovely view of the ocean. For the cost, we ended the evening with the sense that an equivalent meal could be purchased elsewhere for two-thirds the cost.

Valentine’s Day dinner so there was a limited menu which is fine. Elected for the filet mignon which I give a 6/10. Service was good but there was an included 20% tip added to the bill. Ambiance is not much at Echo at least at night when there’s no view of the ocean. We were seated at a very small table adjacent to another couple. Everything at King and Prince seems to be overpriced for what you actually receive, but I’m assuming that’s how they maintain receiving only the preferred clientele. Breakfast the next morning was excellent though so maybe the kitchen was just overtasked for dinner. Visualizza piatti

My wife, Dorene, and I live on the island and have visited this restaurant before. Our Valentine's Day dinner was excellent. She enjoyed the Truffle Risotto and I had the Filet Mignon, both were exactly what we were hoping for. We sat by the window and had a beautiful view of the ocean under perfect conditions. There was a couple sitting outside and suddenly the man got down on one knee and proposed, luckily she said yes! The wait staff took videos of the proposal and went outside to cheer for them. We want to mention that our waitress, Jennifer, was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and upbeat. We will definitely be returning.

We had a nice evening out at Echo. It was a Friday Night and there was a nice, upbeat crowd. We were early for our reservation so we sat at the bar and had a cocktail. Perla was our bartender. She was very friendly, helpful, efficient and the cocktails were very good. We were seated at our table right on time. The table was in a great spot and when the nights get longer we would have had a great ocean view! The menu is extensive and the food was very good. Our waiter was Zack and he was also very friendly, helpful and efficient. Their corkage fee is $15 and we brought our own wine which we like to do when a restaurant allows it. We will definitely go back.

Date night could have been better, the server might have been overwhelmed with the party of 9 adjacent, but she did not check on us resulting in not receiving our main entree and refilling water glasses even after 45 minutes. We requested the check and it still took another 10 minutes. From that point, the server comped the one glass of wine my gf had. Being in the service industry a proper compensation would have been to comp the dinner and at least a temperature check from management, but none was given even as we were leaving. We were given our dinner in to go boxes and still charged full price. Will attempt another reservation there, but not holding my breath anytime soon. Visualizza piatti
