"On vacation at resort where ECHO is located. They imply they are more upscale in the dining room and also have outdoor seating. I know things are adjusted due to COVID but the table was not set, there is no type of dress code. The very small dining room seemed crowded and was very noisy despite obviously being adjusted for social distancing. We showered and changed for dinner but they seated others who appeared to be straight in from the poolbeach who even remarked are we underdressed? The restaurant was very loud. There were families present but the noise issue did not seem to be unruly children, just loud taking, etc when the restaurant sells itself as romantic and waterfront, etc. We actually decided to leave before ordering because we felt dining in the restaurant would not be a good experience and to place a togo order there is no room service due to COVID only take out from this restaurant. The waiter insisted on placing the order for us and came and found us in the nearby lobby, which was one higher point. The food was just ok and we thought a portion of scallops and a modest amount of sautéed veg as an entree for was out of line based on the style of food and restaurant. We also had a mediocre pasta but the fish portion was well seasoned and cooked. A mixed bag. Other take out meals during the day were better"

Good meal , if you like sharing with the flies. Place is noisy with only a few people due to coronavirus. The flies and bugs were really disconcerting. There is no ambiance, they charge high prices for the view. Service was excellent food was good

Great view and the grilled grouper was the best. Service a bit slow but the only problem was the flies. They made several attempts to wipe down the table but couldn’t get rid of the flies. Hard to enjoy a good meal with them flying around. Spoke to manager but he didn’t appear to be aware of the problem

You can’t beat the setting! My daughters loved the cute shape of their pancakes and were talking about it all day. Yummy shrimp and grits, very filling with the poached egg. Very friendly and helpful staff. Love their holiday buffets—but obviously that is off the table right now. I hope they will be back in the future View menu

Great ambience, great food made for a very pleasant eating experience. I particularly want to call out the service by Ahmet who was outstanding. We had an outdoor location and the temperature soared into the They were able to find a table inside which was much cooler and they did that during the meal with minimum of fussWe enjoyed the food, drinks and overall ambience of Echo. Highly recommend and will come back for another meal when we visit St Simons Island again

We went to ECHO the first time on The young lady that waited on us was great. My prime rib meal was okay but not great by a long shot, my wife had shell in her crab cake BLT. There was a horrible fly problem, the server apologized and said we are trying to get rid of them. We had a reservation on our anniversary, food was a little better but should be better for what you pay for food. The fly problem was just as bad and when we said something to the server was not pleasant and said it's because they are a waterfront restaurant. Not impressed with him!!!
