Epicure Café - Piatti

The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly, but the food could use improvement. Additionally, parking is a significant issue and there is no designated parking for people with disabilities.

The Epicure Cafe is a first rate experience. The family owned and run buisness is a gem. The coffee and food and pastries are delicious, nice wine selection, and polite and professional service every time! We love this place

I just recently found this place. Their pastries are wonderful as are their choices of Hot and Cold desserts. They feature some freshly squeezed juices daily that are refreshing on a hot simmer day. They have a really good menu as well. Great location. I'll be frequenting this place often.

I've been coming here since the early 90's and this place was always a treat. Breakfast today was mediocre. My husband's breakfast sorely needed salt. My eggplant and goat cheese panini was full of pickles! More like a pickle sandwich. Also, the goat cheese seemed more like cream cheese maybe bc of the pickles? I've had this sandwich in the past and really enjoyed it. This was a failure. The cappuccino was delicious. Hopefully, the desserts still measure up.

I visited on Wednesday and wanted to share my experience. First, you'll need to pay for parking. When I arrived, there was no line at all. I ordered the chicken alfredo and an iced chai tea. While we were there, the power went out, which made things pretty uncomfortable. No one acknowledged the situation and continued to work as if everything was normal. When my food arrived, it was decent, but the tea was unsweetened, which took me by surprise. Had lunch today over at Epicure Cafe, and had a Smoked Salmon Avocado Sandwich while my girlfriend had a Chicken Salad Sandwich along with a Ceaser Salad. My girlfriend grabbed a slice of Pastaccio Raspberry Cake and also a slice of Strawberry Napoleon Cake, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Friendly service and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Vegetarian options: I would check with the staff. Dietary restrictions: Ask the staff for any concerns. Parking: Lots of parking across the street and in the back. Kid-friendliness: You can bring kids here. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

I came at 8:10 on a weekday. They open at 8am. I waited at the counter the cashier was just now arriving to work and walking in. I ordered and saw people arriving after me who were receiving their drinks and bread. As more orders came out for those who arrived after me, at 8:35am I went back to the counter and inquired about my order. I didn't even get my drink.I was told it would be another 10 minutes because the kitchen was just opening. I was immediately asked if I wanted to cancel. So, 45 minutes to get a turkey croissant. We ordered three entree salmon, Shrimp avocado salad and chicken skewers with rice. I noticed a very strong odor, I thought is probably a spiced used in my rice, I tried twice, I also give a sample to my two guests, and immediately taste that the rice was bad, we all agree.I told the young lady at the counter that the rice was so bad, and also the chicken skewers were charred close to burnt, the chicken tastes very sour and lemony.
