"We ordered three entree salmon, Shrimp avocado salad and chicken skewers with rice. I noticed a very strong odor, I thought is probably a spiced used in my rice, I tried twice, I also give a sample to my two guests, and immediately taste that the rice was bad, we all agree.I told the young lady at the counter that the rice was so bad, and also the chicken skewers were charred close to burnt, the chicken tastes very sour and lemony. They are not having any type of good health practices. The shrimp avocado salad I can taste the Mayo Ketchup, what a great and sophisticate palate. I cannot say nothing about the salmon, I didn't ask what or where is it from. When we were leaving, I asked the two young ladies at the counter if they checked the rice, and both confirm that the rice was spoiled and it was thrown away, still charge the full price. In regards of service, I don't consider this is a good service. Pastries looking good. We got 3 fresh drinks, don't understand why it's saying fresh, my was POM juice out of a bottle. Very disappointed first experience!"

Don't miss this café, absolutely not! I highly recommend it. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. Full marks!

The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly, but the food could use improvement. Additionally, parking is a significant issue and there is no designated parking for people with disabilities.

The Epicure Cafe is a first rate experience. The family owned and run buisness is a gem. The coffee and food and pastries are delicious, nice wine selection, and polite and professional service every time! We love this place

Very cute cafe that has lots of options for you. Good pastries and different sandwhiches, paninis and soups as well!Loved the vibe and service was quick but a little disturbing. But food came out quick and very quiet and nice atmosphere. Must try it! View menu

I just recently found this place. Their pastries are wonderful as are their choices of Hot and Cold desserts. They feature some freshly squeezed juices daily that are refreshing on a hot simmer day. They have a really good menu as well. Great location. I'll be frequenting this place often.

I've been coming here since the early 90's and this place was always a treat. Breakfast today was mediocre. My husband's breakfast sorely needed salt. My eggplant and goat cheese panini was full of pickles! More like a pickle sandwich. Also, the goat cheese seemed more like cream cheese maybe bc of the pickles? I've had this sandwich in the past and really enjoyed it. This was a failure. The cappuccino was delicious. Hopefully, the desserts still measure up.

I visited on Wednesday and wanted to share my experience. First, you'll need to pay for parking. When I arrived, there was no line at all. I ordered the chicken alfredo and an iced chai tea. While we were there, the power went out, which made things pretty uncomfortable. No one acknowledged the situation and continued to work as if everything was normal. When my food arrived, it was decent, but the tea was unsweetened, which took me by surprise. The prices were reasonable, but unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t justify the extra cost of parking. View menu

Had lunch today over at Epicure Cafe, and had a Smoked Salmon Avocado Sandwich while my girlfriend had a Chicken Salad Sandwich along with a Ceaser Salad. My girlfriend grabbed a slice of Pastaccio Raspberry Cake and also a slice of Strawberry Napoleon Cake, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Friendly service and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Vegetarian options: I would check with the staff. Dietary restrictions: Ask the staff for any concerns. Parking: Lots of parking across the street and in the back. Kid-friendliness: You can bring kids here. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

I came at 8:10 on a weekday. They open at 8am. I waited at the counter the cashier was just now arriving to work and walking in. I ordered and saw people arriving after me who were receiving their drinks and bread. As more orders came out for those who arrived after me, at 8:35am I went back to the counter and inquired about my order. I didn't even get my drink.I was told it would be another 10 minutes because the kitchen was just opening. I was immediately asked if I wanted to cancel. So, 45 minutes to get a turkey croissant. Ridiculous. If your business opens at 8am, employees should arrive early enough to ensure customers can be serviced. I requested a refund, but unfortunately, my time is...

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
