"This is the establishment that downtown Burlingame needed! The ambiance is perfect to relax with a glass of wine. They have pleasant music playing in the background and somehow the acoustics of the space made it easy to converse without having to talk loud. They offered me a complimentary sparkling wine as soon as I sat down! The wine selection is huge, even though I didn't know much about particular wines, I described what I liked to the owner Jason and he ordered delicious wines for me. The staff was very friendly and the open layout, high ceilings, and seating areas are very inviting without feeling pretentious. I love outdoor seating and this place has a small outdoor patio in the back. They offer small plates that pair well with wine. I tried one of the deserts and it hit the spot. Downtown Burlingame finally has a wine bar and Velvet 48 nailed it."

"My family lived in Livingston for many years, passed by this place countless times and moved out of Livingston but have never been to Nero's. We decided to give it a try for my mom's 73rd birthday. I was a little nervous because the mixed reviews. First, it's a beautiful establishment with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Second, the service is great. I made a reservation for today but for some reason it was put in for next Sunday. They quickly put a table for us for 9 people. Now the food, it is decent but I do agree with other reviews that for the price you pay, it could be better. We asked for medium rare for our ribeye but it was well-done. We told the waitress and she was very nice and cool about it and they made us new ones. When you didn't do it right the first time, you do it very right the next time and they did. We all enjoyed the calamari a lot and the kids liked the pizza. We also brought a cake and they were nice to bring it out and give us plates and silverware even when they have a full house. Overall, it was a good dining experience."

"It was very easy to make a reservation and I was impressed with that. We arrived at the restaurant and we waited for about eight minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. When someone did, I was approached as pointed finger ant me and asked , carry out? I said no. Table for two, reservation. The guy then said she’ll be right with you. we were seated in a very small table in the corner and I asked to be moved and she took us to a small table in the bar which I asked again to be in a little bit bigger table and she allowed us to sit there. we ordered our drink. It was fair , then we ordered our food and we waited almost an hour to get our food. When it arrived, the chicken Parmesan the Chicken was burnt. My crabcake was very dark. I wouldn’t say burnt but almost there the garlic in the spinach and I believe carrots was horrible. It just reeked of garlic. Our waitress did not come back and check on us until I asked her for a water. Before we got our food, she walked by me three times and made eye contact and never gave me an answer as to where our food was. I was very disappointed that it was not that busy. the dining room was full, but the bar area had very few people in it maybe six at the bar and maybe a total of 10 sitting around the bar. This was our first experience here and I can tell you we probably won’t be back. I had to go to the hostess station and ask for a carry out box."

"There’s nothing like a good Saturday night pizza from Atlantic. My parents ate here when they were dating more than 50 years ago and me and my Mom always got pizza from here. Though my Mom passed away almost 2 years ago and I live by myself now my boyfriend comes over on weekends and picks up a large pie with onion can’t go wrong for less than 20 bucks for a great dinner. "The food at this restaurant was terrible. There were only 4 tables, but a Quinceanera birthday party in the back. I will not be returning. The Chicken Francois tasted like it was leftover and reheated. The pasta with marinara sauce had a burnt garlic taste. The shrimp were not properly cleaned and deveined. The cocktail sauce was old."

"This is my absolute favorite chopped salad! The restaurant used to be called Cicina Presto and served the original chopped salad recipe from Cucina Cucina, which I think was one of the first of its kind. They have maintained the original recipe, and it remains my top choice for chopped salads! I haven't had their pizza in quite some time, so I can't comment on that."

"Son had Swordfish Steak, was very dry. I had Chicken Souvlaki which was bland and a little dry and served on a hot plate, which also had a side salad on it. So aside from it not being a greek salad, it was also hot. Who wants to eat a hot salad? Who would serve a house salad with an italian tasting dressing with Chicken Souvlaki? Other son had the Lamb Shank which he described as MEH Waited a little to long for our waitress to attend to us, and yes we had a reservation and no it was not busy. At the end of the meal which was after 8pm we sat unattended for a good 15 minutes with empty water glasses and no drinks and had to get servers attention."

"My husband and I used the be a gricos every weekend in the 90s after it sold we went a few times. Decided to go after about 5 years. Outstanding. Whoever the chef is do not let him get away. The shrimp savoy was the best the salads were wonderful the dinners amazing. Will definitely be back"

"I would like to start off my review of Sofia Restaurant with the Atmosphere it is absolutely beautiful, the giant paper Mache tree behind the bar is absolutely beautiful and adds a great astatic to the over all ambiance, transporting you to the Mediterranean giving you the feeling your enjoying a gorgeous meal off the coast of Athens, Greece . Our waitress Anastasia was an absolute delight her knowledge of the menu and her pairing of the wine to our individual needs as well as recommending something which will compliment our meal as she did just put our overall experience over the top. I give the Staff the restaurant and the overall atmosphere of Sofia restaurant 5 stars and would highly recommend it to any and all who are looking for an experience above all the rest Parking: The restaurant has its own private lot with a valet and if they are full or your just worried about being able to get out and go once your done without having to wait for your car there is plenty of parking on the street"

"This diner is fantastic! It's clean, respected, and overall very pleasant. The omelette could have had a bit more bacon, but the service was extremely quick and the portion size was perfect. "I went here on a last minute meet up with a friend. It's location was a little weird to me but hey, I guess any place in Westfield is a good place. Its a hip place and feels inviting when you walk in. I of course, made my way to the bar to have a seat. To my surpirise it is not a full bar, they only serve wine and sangria. Well I wouldn't let that news rain on my parade, so a pitcher of red sangria please! They have an interesting menu, but from my experience there, you can't go wrong with anything chicken related. I tried a spicy corn roll (yes,they serve sushi) and their fried chicken sammich. Sushi roll, not to my liking....but that chicken sammich sang sweet melodies to my heart haha. So if you are a fried chicken lover this is a place to go, if not then allow them to make you one. They also have karaoke rooms for reservation if you feel like being a rockstar."

"My boyfriend and I went here for his birthday with the hopes of trying some genuine greek food. The upstairs restaurant is really nice with a nice quiet atmosphere unlike the downstairs bar area. The wine and our waitress were good but that's about it. The food is on the level of Applebee's or microwave food at the best. I ordered the greek sampler. The meatballs were hard, so hard that I cut one and it flew off my plate. The rest of the sampler just tasted like it was frozen food that they tossed in the microwave with not much flavor. My boyfriend ordered the Pastitsio. His was not any better. It was a square of gelatinous macaroni with some meat on the bottom with more pasta. Maybe their sandwiches are better. We most likely will not return. Very disappointed."

My only issue was with the fountain soda. It was mostly flat. The awesomeness of the pizzas totally make up for flat soda! Next time I'll just get a 2 liter. Issue solved."

"This review is long overdue! Olive Express serves incredibly delicious food, generous portions, reasonable prices, and has a friendly staff! What more could you want? I do wish they were open later and on weekends, just so I could eat there more often. All the employees are super friendly and easy to interact with, especially Ivy at the front desk, who is exceptionally kind! We've tried the quinoa bowls, chicken curry, salmon wrap, kabob platter, and tuna salad sandwich, and honestly, every dish is outstanding! It can be a bit tricky to find since it's located inside an office building, but it's definitely worth the extra effort. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed!"

"Best gyro ever, beef and lamb blend with the potatoes were insanely good soda included for $18 lunch special... Incredibly good and worth it, first time here. The gyro alone was worth coming back. Also went to the bakery grabbed some cookies and some custard desert and baklava of course and yogurt. Cookies were great, baklava delicious and the custard was a little overwhelming but great once you bite from the bottom...tons of custard couldn't finish it. The yogurt was good but not amazing. Everyone was so friendly and nice, answered all my questions and were patient with my newbie self . There was a guy checking on the tables non-stop as well. Great ambiance, about as close as I will get to feeling like I'm at an authentic Greek deli in Greece. 10/10"

"Delphi Greek is a small family owed Greek restaurant that you must try. You will love it all. They have amazing food for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters and their desserts are out of this world. Their prices are reasonable and you can eat in or take out or have it delivered, fresh and ready to eat. Right now, because of Covid, the interior is closed. It is so cute. Blue everywhere and the nicest people you will meet. Their grape leafs are great and try the lamb and any of the rices are wonderful. It is located in Westwood, right on Westwood Blvd. Parking is easy (mind the signs) and they are fast. It should also be noted that during this time of Covid, Delphi has stepped up and are sending out meals to the poor. God Bless them. This is a must stop in Los Angeles. Have a great time, they also have a wonderful selection of beers."

"We had an amazing dining experience. From the very warm greeting and exit from the wonderful hostess. She is always so warm, accommodating and is an excellent reminder of the incredible personnel employed at this establishment. It is always the highlight of our dining experience to stop by this amazing restaurant and partake of some outstanding Greek cuisine. Our waiter was wonderful. The menu selection is filled with tasty Greek specialties. The amazing Greek salad is made to perfection. Lamb Chops are seasoned and care is obviously taken to ensure the dining experience is memorable. The food is par excellence, but it's the wonderful personnel that transcends the norm and is top notch class. Every employee made us feel welcome. For example, water was filled timely, dishes removed seamlessly. We look forward to many more occasions and future dining opportunities at this fine establishment."
