Fiesta Tapatia - Piatti

I had to drop off a vehicle at the apartment complex next door and couldn't resist stopping by Fiesta Tapatia before heading home. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Cinco de Mayo, and there was more than enough staff to assist us and keep our drinks filled. I was very impressed with my first visit, and the food was outstanding. I can’t wait to swing by the area again just to dine here!

My family is always on the lookout for great Mexican restaurants, and this one is our top choice. During our recent visit with a large group, we tried a bit of everyone's dishes, and everything was spot on—full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The expansive menu ensures that there's something for everyone. The staff is very welcoming, and the atmosphere is fantastic. A truly excellent dining experience!

The restaurant has a pleasant interior and plenty of parking, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. As someone who appreciates authentic Hispanic cuisine, I expected the food to be flavorful. While the portion sizes are generous, the dishes lack taste. For instance, the chicken tortilla soup had no visible chicken; it was more like broth with avocado and tortilla pieces. The chicken enchiladas were reminiscent of boiled chicken, completely devoid of flavor, with the overwhelming taste of tomato paste. The worst service we've had anywhere in quite a few years. The waitress who i think was the manager or supervisor could care less about serving her customers. The restaurant wasn't busy, we had to wait an unorthodox amount of time for all of thefollowing: ordering our food, getting refills, getting boxes, and getting our check. The employees were gathered around thebar area chatting it up and watching the news. The salsa wasn't anything better than you could buy from a grocery store. Thechips were not salted, and were stale. Overall just mediocre Mexican food. Definitely will be passing up this restaurant inthe future. The only saving grace was the decor paintings on the tables seats.
