"I usually only leave a review when I have a very, very good or very, very bad experience. This experience was fantastic! My wife and I were visiting family last week in Niceville. We went to this awesome restaurant on Friday 9/22. We were greeted and asked if we had visited before. We responded that we had not and the staff took the time to explain the menu and answered all of our questions. One of our family members asked about gluten free options and we found out that they have a gluten-free crust pizza (cauliflower crust). My wife and I both ordered the gyro plate and a piece of Baklava. When the food came out, it was obviously freshly made. The fries were crispy and delicious, the Greek salad was so good. Lots of feta cheese and the house dressing was delicious. The gyro was outstanding. The meat was cooked perfectly. The tzatziki sauce was thick and rich and so flavorful. Finally the baklava, we were so full it was hard to finish but it was spot on. Flaky and sweet, so delicious. We arrived just about an hour before the dining room closed, but we weren’t rushed out. The owner talked to us before we left and was very personable. We complimented his restaurant and he mentioned that his father had given him the restaurant and that he instilled in his son to “chase the customers, not the money”. This is what is missing in most establishments these days. Keep doing what you are doing sir. It is working and I hope you make stacks of money doing it. 10 out of 10. 5 stars for sure. This place is awesome!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Baklava, Gyro Plate, Fries"

"Strange experience. I am a long time local who recently moved away and came back for a weekend to visit, excited at the prospect of a new brewery in town. The experience was anything but great, luckily we had great company but that was the only highlight. Our beer was served nearly room temp, red wine was served chilled, our $18 charcuterie board was served with (I kid you not) a slice of American cheese. Sliced Kraft American cheese. Club crackers that you find at Publix/Winn Dixie, packaged pizza pepperoni. Such a disappointment. To make matters worse, the Mac and cheese was noticably boxed Velveeta shells and cheese. Even one of the dip cheeses was Velveeta. Waters were only brought to half the table (2 out of 4). Root beer float was served pouring over and made a huge mess, the root beer was warm to the point that only about a teaspoon or two of ice cream remained. I'm floored the waitress let a $18 charcuterie board go to a table with American cheese, or was totally fine with any of this. Also, for what it's worth the place had maybe two other tables there so being busy couldn't even be to blame. I wish I could have had a good experience and say how glad I am to see a good local brewery, but this place just needs a total reset. I apologized profusely for the bad experience to the friend I brought there because this is a horrible representation of a local place. Hopefully the owners pay attention to the reviews and take the opportunity to remedy this."

"Used to be a decent place to eat, not anymore though. Last couple of times there the service was slow and food was bland. Went again this past weekend, and it was just a disaster. Not very busy at all, no greeting or smiles, waited a long time to order and the person that finally took our order acted like he was very annoyed we were there. Ordered our usual hot sandwich, chili, mac and cheese and drinks. Took a VERY long time to get the order up, finally went up to ask about it and the three employees acted like they were unsure we had ordered anything. Then the person that took the order challenged whether or not we had ordered mac and cheese. I held up the receipt and offered to show him but he passed, just said to give it to us. Sandwich meat was very tough and stringy, and the whole sandwich was soaked in a very thin, white sauce that ran everywhere and dripped out of the sandwich and all over us. Chili was very watery and bland, had zero chili taste, more like a brownish soup with hamburger and beans. Mac and cheese was so hot we could not eat it until we had finished everything else. And it too was pretty bland, not rich and creamy as in the past. So after many years of patronizing this business, we are done. Will not return for a very poor meal that we paid over $25 before a generous round up contribution. Better deals around with folks that actually want customers in the store."

"I haven't been out to eat since my husband's death. They had a hamburger I was interested in trying, and I had a coupon for it. I decided to go to the restroom first, and my first impression of the place and cleanliness of it started there. It was disgusting. I cringed. I didn't want to touch anything, and after you washed your hands you had to touch everything. Needless to say, my first impression wasn't a good one. Before I continue, let me say I don't have a problem hiring handicapped people. I think it is a great thing. My problem is putting someone that can't speak well, isn't friendly, basically shoves a cup in my face, is not one to put at the counter. For someone hearing impaired, it was frustrating. I got the chili cheeseburger, large fries and med drink. I asked for the fries to be fresh and well done. When I got my meal, it appeared the fries were what I asked for, but when I started eating them, I could tell they were old fries that had been put down again. When I got to the hamburger, I took one bite and I had to wrap it back up. It had been rewarmed. There was not any kind of sauce, or anything on the bottom bun so that made it even drier. You could tell the beans had been rewarmed. I had to douse it with mayo, mustard and catsup to be able to eat half of it. The place has gone downhill big time since my husband and I frequented it. We liked it better than the competition down the street. Even the customer base is different. I took the plunge to go out to relax and destress. I was so disappointed. The place just felt unclean. Oh, I also saw a kitchen employee go out to his car two or three times, and never once did he wash his hands before returning to the kitchen."
