"my first time eating here, not very impressed. it was busy so I’m not sure if that was reason or being short staffed but from what I saw there were only 2 servers (female); with the inside being completely full to capacity, they were trying to take care of everybody. however as a former server you should NEVER have to ask for a refill, especially 2 and 3 times. the food came out pretty fast (I orrdered milanesa de pollo) the black beans were very bland. At least it was a good portion of food cause I left with a box. I gave a 4 star rating for the atmosphere because of how cute the inside is. prices are a little steep though."

"Incredible service! The staff genuinely seemed pleased to be there and assist us. Our server, Nate, was fantastic! There was a gentleman outside who warmly welcomed all the guests—unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but he was a delight! The food is outstanding, and the basil martini is simply divine. The atmosphere is both inviting and refreshing. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, and you’ll find yourself captivated by the descriptions. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"The elderly woman at the restaurant had a very unpleasant attitude. I ordered a strawberry shortcake ice cream cone, but instead received a parasol. When I inquired about it, she claimed I misread the sign. The menu had an overwhelming number of options, making it difficult to navigate. She then discarded my original order and handed me a basic strawberry cone without offering any refund for the price difference. After waiting for a while to discuss a partial refund, she informed me that I wouldn't be receiving one due to a "remake" fee, despite it being her responsibility to clarify that what I wanted wasn't on the menu. I insisted on getting my refund, which she only provided when someone else came up behind me in line. Overall, it was a disappointing experience in terms of customer service!"

"I was having an early Mothers Day dinner with my son (he lives out of town), and I was looking online for a seafood restaurant. I came to Coastal Crab Company’s website and the description and pictures of the food looked so inviting, I wanted to give it a try. However, when we were on our way, my son saw that they were close to closing time at 7 PM. This was a little bit after 6PM. I called and the gentleman I spoke to said that we could order takeout. We really wanted to have a sit down meal so we scrapped that and decided to go to another popular local restaurant down by the river. When we got there, they were completely full and it was an hour wait time. At that point my son said that we can just do takeout and go home and eat. So, I called back Coastal Crab Company and I spoke to young woman who was so friendly. I thought we only had 20 minutes to closing , so she said how far are you? I said we are 20 minutes away and she said to come on. When we got there, we weren’t quite sure of what we wanted to eat. Anyway, we parked and went in. We met this lovely young woman. Her name was Nya? I believe. She was awesome. She took our order and we decided to wait outside in the car. Her customer service was impeccable. She explained what was on the menu and she told us, and practically insured that we would love the food. Let me tell you it is some of the best seafood that I’ve had in a long time. It was fresh and well seasoned, and you can tell that they put love into each and everything that they cooked. I had the seafood platter, with grouper and shrimp with the seafood rice in a creole sauce. It was to die for. We also had the seafood stew and the seafood gumbo. Both were excellent. They have my vote! I believe that their food is not only excellent, but the customer service is impeccable. I would go back again and again, thank you for making my early Mother’s Day with my son! I will see you for my birthday and I will tell all of my family and friends. Thank you Coastal Crab Company!"

"The food was not done well. The spinach artichoke dip was bland, not cheesy, and covered in bread crumbs. We wanted raw veggies instead of bread or chips and were told that was not possible. Almost everything we asked for was denied. Our steak was well-done in parts, and med-well in the very center. We asked for medium with char. They offered to remake the steak, but we have a personal issue with remade food. A place that serves steaks every hour of every day should not have to remake a steak. The blue cheese topping on the steak was the best part of the meal. The potatoes served with the salmon were inedible. They wouldn't substitute the potatoes for another side without charging an upcharge. Even though, on the menu, the two sides are the same price. The view was lovely. We told our server we didn't want bread, we are trying to reduce our bread consumption, but the salad came with croutons and thr spinach dip had a mountain of bread crumbs. It that just careless? It was such a disappointment. We wanted the happy hour menu but were told that wasn't an option, so we ordered from the early dining and regular menu. It was a frustrating, confusing, and disappointing dining experience. They took $10 off the overdone steak, but really. I regret eating here."
