"Unfortunately, the rest of our meal fell short of expectations. From the shared caprese salad to our pasta dishes—my husband's artichoke piccata and my Italian sausage with mushrooms—we found ourselves disappointed. The caprese salad had only a few drizzles of balsamic vinegar and was strangely lacking in olive oil or any seasonings. My husband's pasta featured artichokes that seemed jarred, lacking any real depth of flavor, while my ragu pasta was overly saucy, resulting in a one-note taste, and I could barely detect the tiny bits of sausage. The only cheese provided was from a shaker meant for pizza. I’m giving this place 4 stars primarily because of the friendly and warm staff; I would return just for their sweet demeanor and the charming atmosphere. Perhaps other dishes might be better, but unfortunately, we weren't impressed with ours."

The food is delicious, and I absolutely love the atmosphere of this charming California beach town. The service is pretty laid-back, but then it can suddenly become quite prompt. The minestrone soup was fantastic, and their pizzas are top-notch! You just have to embrace the unpredictable nature of the service. Overall, it’s a really cool place!

I took an Uber from Morro Bay, expecting to arrive about 1.5 hours before closing for some tasty food. Unfortunately, I was turned away in a rude manner and informed that they had no business for the past hour. I wouldn’t recommend this place; it's just not worth the risk!
