"We started with some appetizers: the Venezuelan beef empanadas and tequeños. They were fresh, hot, tasty, and cooked to perfection. The cilantro sauce that accompanied the empanadas was the closest you can get to authentic Venezuelan green sauce, known as Guasacaca. Extra points for the sauce, as it was delicious! We also ordered a cortadito and a café latte, both of which were very good. For our main dishes, we had two arepas: the beef arepa and the pernil arepa. While it’s not typical to add pico de gallo, the flavor was still delicious. The beef arepa is made with shredded beef—just a heads up, it consists of thin chunks of meat that are incredibly flavorful. I was truly impressed by how delicious it was. The crunchiness of the arepa, its texture, and how well it was cooked were just perfect, and the portion size is generous. So think twice if you’re planning on having two arepas! Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s clean, the food is very authentic and extremely delicious, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and efficient, making sure your food comes out quickly. "We enjoy having breakfast at this café every time we're in Florida. They offer a wide variety of food options suitable for all ages, and everything is fresh and of high quality. The customer service is very friendly and attentive. We once tried a casual dinner, and I was impressed with the quality of the fish soup—it reminded me of the one I make at home, although I wish they would use a little less salt. My partner felt the same way about his chicken soup. The lamb chop and salad were also fantastic! I wish they would expand north; we would definitely dine there frequently."

"that was my first time in this restaurant and it will be my last. on time for a 6:45 reservation. I waited for 45 minutes with my older grandmother and three children for our reso-, as I saw her after the table before us on the table. we finally sat (after we had to talk to the manager) and ordered to eat and drink. the waitress was great and eating was very good. assumed the start to the meal was an anomaly and we were all enjoying. fast before dessert. we ordered a cake for my 5 year old birthday. they seemed to do a really nice sparkling song for the bdays and so we were thrilled to celebrate. 30 minutes later we wait for the dessert. at this point the children have enough, the good mood is over, and everyone is waiting for the dessert. the waitress was very nice- said the kitchen was just upright and that it wasn't her fault. we understood, but at this point just wanted to go. we asked about the bill and the waitress finally brought the cake, but the radio who sings birthday was missing - extremely disappointing. the bill paid, never a pie. I asked for the withdrawal of container, never had a bag to put them in. a very disappointing experience that ends. it is clear that this restaurant runs very badly and we will not return."

"This was our second visit to Old Lisbon and we went with friends promising them a wonderful dining experience. When we arrived the restaurant was full and we were seated quickly.Our waiter took our drink bottle of wine and food orders and we waited for our appetizers to be served. We were splitting appetizers as I knew from our last visit that the portion size is large enough to split. The sausage croquettes did come out in about minutes but our eggplant dish did not. Finally we called over our waiter and asked where it was and he claimed that we had never ordered it when in fact it was the first dish we did order and we repeated it to him twice. As some time had transpired since we first placed our orders we asked if the reordering of the eggplant dish would interfere with our main courses being served as we didn’t want them served together. He said don’t worry so you know what happened next, they came out virtually together.On a scale the waiter’s attention to detail would be rated a Aside from screwing up the order he never visited our table to see if we needed anything unless we called him over. The restaurant added the gratuity to the bill which may account for the poor service. The food was good but the service was awful and we will never go to Old Lisbon again after this experience"

"Our server Alexis did not meet our standards. I felt like we were treated differently from her other customers. She only offered me tap water to start. While I saw other tables around us who had bottled water. I wanted seafood that night, but only saw options on the menu. I settled and ordered the salmon entree. My husband ordered the steak. A few minutes after she put in our orders, I overheard Alexis telling the table next to us a list of specials for the night. I was confused because she didn’t share those specials with us. I asked her if we could hear the specials and I decided to change my order to the seafood soup. It was delicious. I’m glad I changed. My husband asked for steak sauce. She said you all didn’t have any. I think there should be some kind of steak or Worcestershire sauce if you’re gonna have steak on the menu. Alexis should have offered some alternative solutions. Once again, she did not. We had to spot a sauce on another table to request it. Why are we as the customer scouting out what we need? And then she charged us for another side salad instead of replacing the side salad that came with the steak. I told her that she didn’t explain that well. She took the cost of the side salad off the bill. We paid over in food and drinks,but I left feeling like we had less than adequate service. This was our first time to this restaurant and will probably be our last time."
